The receptionist blinked in surprise for a moment before quickly standing up. "Miss Lilith," she said with a polite smile. "You can go right in."
Lilith gave a slight nod, not breaking her stride. She was familiar here. Too familiar, actually.
She entered the elevator, pressing the button to the top floor—the CEO's private floor. As the doors slid shut, she glanced at her reflection in the steel surface. Calm. Composed. Regal. She fixed the collar of her suit and took a slow breath, her expression unreadable.
Her shooting schedule had wrapped up. She finally had time for herself and ESE's production phase was also running smoothly, nearing the testing phase. With her team handling most of the details, she had the luxury of checking on the people she hadn't seen in a while.
And someone was on top of that list. Someone she hadn't heard from in weeks.
Her eyes slightly narrowed.
