Chapter 460 - Ch.460 Vengeance Goddess Doesn’t Venge, Living Tribunal Faces Judgment

The campaign to "persuade" superheroes to join the Breakworld Plan proceeded with fervor under Charlie and his allies.

In the process, the merciful Spider-Man sent many stubborn souls on their way.

Meanwhile, the dimensional demon gods hiding within the Battleworld were further purged by Future Jade.

On the wilderness battlefield, the resistance led by Emperor Thanos struggled to fend off S.H.I.E.L.D.'s encirclement.

Above the battlefield, a sudden surge of blood-red energy spread silently.

SHRIEK~~

CRACK CRACK CRACK~~

As ancient wails erupted, massive blood-red octopus tentacles thrashed wildly.

At the battlefield's edge, Charlie eyed the familiar blood-red power, instinctively glancing at Doctor Octopus behind him.

"It's Hydra!"

Doctor Octopus's expression was grave. "The Hydra Evil God has appeared."

Charlie nodded. "It's here, but it's about to end."

As he spoke, the blood-red Evil God emerging from the void roared at a figure cloaked in absolute darkness.

"You damned creature, why are you hunting me?!"

"I want your power."

A dark throne descended, hellish power enveloping the battlefield. Emperor Thanos and his forces opposing Spider-Man were instantly consumed by the hellish abyss.

The Hydra Evil God was dragged into the Dark Abyss by countless dimensional claws.

Thus, the first god-level foe Spider-Man faced in the main world fell ignominiously to Jade's hands.

Charlie watched, thoughtful.

"This is what she's been working on?"

He couldn't quite grasp it. Future Jade's hell had grown powerful enough to crush dimensional demon gods. Why keep devouring these evil gods?

Why target only dimensional demon gods?

He couldn't figure it out.

After finishing, Future Jade closed her eyes, probing Hydra's memories.

There was something she needed to know.

Each time she devoured a dimensional demon god, she uncovered new truths.

Soon, atop her throne, Future Jade opened her eyes, a faint smirk curling her lips.

"So that's how it is."

She smiled lightly, gave Charlie a casual wave, and left the scene.

Charlie watched her go, utterly confused.

At that moment, golden light streaked across the horizon. Carter hovered in the air. "It's almost time."

Charlie nodded, raising his hand to release golden webbing.

HUM~

In an instant, golden webs blanketed mountains, rivers, glaciers, and oceans, covering the entire Earth.

As the webs enveloped the planet, countless golden strands descended. Superheroes gazed at the strands before them, hesitated, then grasped them.

HUM!!

The moment they seized the strands, a flash of light blinded them. They found themselves standing on a colossal web spanning the cosmos.

The Web of Life and Destiny!

Now fully restored by the Weaver, the Web of Life and Destiny amplified Charlie's totem power to its peak.

On this vast web, everyone's fates were linked, including the Spider-Men tormented by the web's curse.

"Whoa, is this the Web of Life and Destiny?"

Peter Parkers crouched, marveling at the web's surface.

It was the spark of their tragic fates but also the key to breaking them.

They knew touching the Web of Life and Destiny gave them a chance to defy fate.

But now wasn't the time.

Charlie didn't rally the Spider-Men to break their fates. Instead, he harnessed their destinies to embark on a new quest.

HUM!!

His hands formed seals, and the Web of Life and Destiny trembled. Endless totem power flowed from everyone, surging through the strands into Charlie's body.

It wasn't just Spider-Men who held totem power; everyone carried some degree of it.

Totem power was the power of destiny.

Charlie understood now.

No one could escape destiny's grasp.

Even with the Beyonder's interference, destiny would guide everyone to their rightful ends.

Each person's destiny differed, but one thing was universal:

They didn't belong trapped in this damned Battleworld!

The Beyonders, from beyond the cosmos, had altered their fates and would face the consequences!

For that was the Beyonders' destiny too.

Breaking the Battleworld would let everyone reclaim their true fates.

This was aligning with destiny's flow, and destiny had no reason to oppose Charlie.

As this wave of destiny began transmitting its rebellious message, auroras flooded the cosmic starry sky, faintly forming a vast starry form.

Eternity!

Infinity!

And Death!

"Heh, you've completed the first step of the plan so quickly, Spider-Man. I'll have to learn from you sometime."

Death shadowed Charlie, whispering softly in his ear, only to sense hostile glares from other women.

HUM!

The Necrosword trembled lightly. Gwen's eyes burned with threat.

Carter's eyes crackled with energy, ready to obliterate the so-called Death Goddess with a look.

In the corner, Ophelia seethed, frustrated by her inability to analyze Death's genes to craft targeted toxins.

On the other side, the Phoenix Force and Chaos Magic stirred restlessly.

Charlie's expression grew odd.

These two are Spider-Man fans too?

Since when?

Sigh, excellence comes with these burdens.

He pointed beside him. "Lady, calm down. If you want to be a fan, get in line."

Death Goddess: "???"

"I'm the most ancient deity, the Death Goddess!" she reminded him.

Charlie rolled his eyes. "Same deal. Line up."

Death Goddess: "…"

She thought for a moment, then turned away haughtily. "I'm not like them!

But though we're well-prepared, we're missing one person," she said suddenly.

Charlie frowned. "Missing one? Who?"

"The Vengeance Goddess," Death said slowly.

"What's that goddess now?" Charlie groaned.

Marvel's goddesses were a dime a dozen.

Death scanned the group, her gaze landing on Symbiote Tony, who was picking his nose.

"Him."

"What?"

Everyone was stunned.

Charlie's mouth twitched. "He's a guy. He can't be a goddess."

"Yeah, yeah, I'm a man! I like goddesses, not being one," Symbiote Tony nodded eagerly, wiping his nose gunk on Young Steve's shoulder.

Amid puzzled stares, Death Goddess explained.

"Strictly speaking, the Infinity Stones were the first deities born in the universe. The Vengeance Goddess is the embodiment of their power.

She wandered the cosmos for countless years, mastering the rules of Power, Mind, Time, Space, Reality, Soul—nearly every domain.

But over billions of years, no other life emerged, and she grew weary of her existence.

Loneliness is the cruelest despair. She began to loathe life.

In endless solitude, the Vengeance Goddess fragmented herself, birthing the seven Infinity Stones, each representing a cosmic rule she once wielded."

Charlie pondered this. "After the Infinity Stones formed, the cosmic gods emerged, followed by the Celestials creating life?"

"Close enough," Death Goddess said. "With the multiverse's birth, the Infinity Stones were copied countless times, diluting their power immensely.

But no matter how weakened, if the Vengeance Goddess awakens, her power remains at its peak."

"How do we awaken her?" Charlie asked.

"That's him." Death pointed at Symbiote Tony. "His brain holds something called the Knowledge Stone, or Ego Stone, the crystallization of the Vengeance Goddess's self-consciousness. It's not an Infinity Stone but the key to reviving her."

"Me?" Symbiote Tony blinked, dumbfounded. "I'm that important?" His grin widened.

"Don't get too excited," Old Man Steve whispered. "She means they'll crack open your skull to get the Ego Stone."

Symbiote Tony: "!!!"

"No way!" he shouted. "That'll turn me into an idiot!"

Strange stepped forward confidently. "Relax, my surgery will be a success. I've got a top-notch team."

A swarm of Stranges surrounded Symbiote Tony.

Symbiote Tony trembled. "No!!"

He was dragged off by the Supreme Sorcerers.

Ten minutes later, a gleaming white stone was handed to Charlie.

Charlie: "…"

He looked at the Stranges. "I didn't even say start!" he said, exasperated.

"But you implied it," Strange said seriously.

Charlie facepalmed. "Thanks for the surgery. Is Tony okay?"

"I'm fine," Tony raised his hand.

"Not you, the other Tony."

"I'm fine too."

"Not you guys, damn it!!!"

Death Goddess eyed the Ego Stone in Charlie's hand, smiling faintly. "This thing cursed all Iron Men."

"It's contagious?" Charlie was shocked.

Death rolled her eyes. "You don't understand the Vengeance Goddess's power."

"I don't," Charlie admitted. "If she's the Vengeance Goddess, won't she be ferocious when revived?"

"No worries," Death said. "We just borrow her power. No need to fully revive her."

"But it's already moving."

The Ego Stone in Charlie's hand stirred. Death's face grew serious.

"You two, stop staring and act!"

Death summoned Eternity and Infinity. The three deities unleashed the universe's primal rules to suppress the Ego Stone.

Charlie moved to help, but Death stopped him.

"The Ego Stone isn't the key. It can summon all multiversal Infinity Stones."

Charlie understood instantly. "You want me to collect all multiversal Infinity Stones?"

"Exactly. Control them, and the Ego Stone can't trigger the Vengeance Goddess's revival."

"Got it."

As Charlie spoke, a starry canvas dotted with lights appeared above. The lights sped toward the Ego Stone, trying to breach the deities' containment.

Without a word, Charlie unleashed his proto-Asgard, absorbing all the Infinity Stones.

BOOM!!

The divine realm expanded, no longer a mere prototype.

The Infinity Stones contained nearly all cosmic rules, perfecting the realm's rules in moments.

Charlie's consciousness replaced the Vengeance Goddess's.

After absorbing all Infinity Stones, the Ego Stone ceased its activity.

The three deities withdrew their power.

Death tossed the Ego Stone to Strange. "Put it back in his head!"

The Stranges: "…"

They fell silent.

"What's wrong?" Death frowned.

One Strange said, "We just sewed his head shut."

"Then open it again."

"Got it."

Soon, Symbiote Tony's screams echoed again.

"No!! I don't want it! Toss it away! Don't crack my skull again!!!"

His screams cut off abruptly.

Empowered by the Vengeance Goddess's might, Charlie felt invincible.

"Hmm, almost max level."

"Brothers, charge with me!!"

Charlie raised his right hand, and everyone on the Web of Life and Destiny roared.

"Break the Battleworld!"

HUM~

Blinding light erupted with the golden webbing.

In that moment, everyone became light.

BOOM!!

As the golden light surged into the void, assaulting the Battleworld, Eternity, Infinity, and Death joined in, channeling their power to aid the light.

RUMBLE!!

The cosmos shook, cracks spreading endlessly.

CRACK CRACK CRACK~~

Sensing the Battleworld's fractures, a massive face in the starry sky widened its eyes.

"This is…"

The Beyonder was stunned, then burst into laughter.

"Hahaha! So fun, Spider-Man! If you won't play with me, you'll be my toy forever~~"

"Play with your big head!!"

A roar echoed as Spider-Man's colossal light-shadow formed above the Beyonder.

The Beyonder looked up, facing a cosmic fist imbued with destiny's power, delivering judgment.

"No~~"

BOOM!!

The cosmic bell tolled, and the shattered Battleworld collapsed completely.

As the Battleworld vanished, everyone on the Web of Life and Destiny was sent back to their own universes.

Without this destiny power, fate no longer favored the invincible Spider-Man.

HUM~

Spider-Man's light-shadow dissipated. The Beyonder, now humanoid, danced gleefully in the cosmic void, juggling planets.

"Hahaha! Congrats on breaking the Battleworld, but the game's not over. I've got countless more to play with you."

Charlie ignored him, curiously looking toward Death.

"The Battleworld's gone. Why hasn't the Living Tribunal shown up?"

Death's eyes darted away.

"I forgot to mention. Before the Beyonder appeared, the Living Tribunal was destroyed by the Ivory Kings descending on the universe."

Charlie: "…"

So these guys were his last teammates.

What a mess!!
