BOOM!!
At Death's Cliff, Thanos raised his right hand, the Cosmic Cube unleashing a burst of starry energy.
"Stop showing off, he's getting away!" Thanos bellowed.
In that instant, the Cosmic Cube enveloped the shattered meteors with dazzling starlight.
This was a fragment of Galactus's energy—something they absolutely had to seize.
At the same time, Emperor Thanos and others began scrambling for the dissipating energy.
ROAR!!
Beast Hulk leapt between cosmic meteors, each jump pulverizing the rocks beneath his feet, channeling their energy to Emperor Thanos.
Yet, the flickering bolts of thunder were also sweeping away the meteors' dissipating power.
Seeing this, Beast Hulk's face twisted with rage as he charged toward the center of the thunderous light—Old Man Steve.
ROAR!!
A savage aura exploded outward. Old Man Steve quickly noticed the beast.
"Hey, green monster, let's see how you handle Captain Thunder!"
Old Man Steve crackled with rampant lightning, his blue eyes shining like stars. The ferocious thunder grew even more intense.
ZAP!!
RUMBLE!!
In a flash, Old Man Steve raised his hand, pressing downward. Countless Mjolnirs transformed into lightning bolts, relentlessly hammering toward Beast Hulk.
BOOM!!
An explosion erupted in space. At the heart of the lightning, Beast Hulk roared in fury. Amid the increasingly violent thunder, his rage surged infinitely, but as a tamed pet, he had lost the power of his anger. No matter how furious he became, his strength remained capped at this level.
Unable to grow stronger through rage, he ultimately couldn't withstand Captain Thunder's ferocious assault.
ROAR!!
With a wail, Beast Hulk plummeted into the cosmic depths. Emperor Thanos paid no heed to his defeated pet.
Instead, he gazed with interest at Captain Thunder's heroic form, a smirk tugging at his lips.
BOOM!
The ground exploded as Emperor Thanos descended from a pillar of light into the starry void.
Meteors turned into a shower of falling stars. Wielding his warblade, Emperor Thanos blocked Old Man Steve's path.
"Interesting Captain. Has your shield ever been shattered by my blade?" Emperor Thanos taunted with a provocative glint in his eyes. Old Man Steve didn't hesitate, flipping him an insulting gesture.
"Motherfucker, I'm Captain Thunder. You better get that straight."
The old man cursed, refusing to acknowledge his past defeats.
Emperor Thanos paused, surprised. The Captain, swearing?
"Very well, you're quite entertaining."
He snapped back to reality, raising his warblade in a battle stance—only to be blasted away the next second by a Mjolnir hurtling from behind.
BOOM!!
Dazed, Emperor Thanos was pummeled by a relentless barrage of Mjolnirs, crashing through lifeless planets one after another until he plunged into a blazing star.
Having done this, Old Man Steve stood with hands on hips, laughing heartily.
"Hahaha! Think I'm still the naive goody-two-shoes from my youth? Too naive, motherfucker!"
He flipped the bird at Emperor Thanos in the star, then turned to continue hammering meteors with Mjolnir, seizing their energy.
Meanwhile, hidden powerhouses on Earth sprang into action, seemingly realizing Galactus's power could be plundered.
Gaining greater strength meant a higher chance of victory.
They wouldn't let this opportunity slip.
Including the terrifying entity forcibly dragged from the Dark Abyss.
In the Sealed Realm, the Symbiote God Gnar snapped open his blood-red eyes.
"Gehahaha! He's here, Spider-Man."
"But first, let me devour the planet's power to replenish these years of depletion."
SHRIEK!!
A piercing scream echoed as dense blood-red light bloomed in the darkness of the Sealed Realm.
Hordes of Symbiote Dragons with crimson eyes poured forth, swarming through a blood-red portal to descend upon the starry void, vying for Galactus's power.
Gnar, meanwhile, rose slowly, stretching lazily.
"Urgh, that feels good."
The Dark Abyss had been pulled into the Battleworld. With the multiverse cut off, the seal weakened further.
He quickly eroded the so-called sealing power.
Now was the moment to descend!
As for the so-called wish, he couldn't care less.
Before he could summon his All-Black Necrosword, it sliced through the Dark Abyss, landing diagonally before him.
HUM~
The blade trembled, radiating blood-red light.
Gazing at the All-Black Necrosword, Gnar bared a feral grin.
WHOOSH~
A faint breeze passed, lifting Gnar's white hair slightly.
He hunched over, slowly turning.
He saw Spider-Man.
Golden Spider-Man.
"Hahaha! This is our first true meeting, isn't it, Charlie Parker?" Gnar laughed.
Charlie dug in his ear. "What an outdated villain. That kind of laugh is so last season."
Gnar bared his fangs. "Then tell me, how should I laugh?"
As he spoke, he stepped forward, gripping the All-Black Necrosword. "Thanks for returning my weapon. As a reward, I've decided—"
"Decide your mother!"
Charlie roared, and the All-Black Necrosword erupted with golden webbing patterns. The proto-Asgard unleashed power beyond the Marvel cosmos. The Laughing Virus spread along the blade, infecting Gnar's body. The eight great demons, cackling maniacally, locked onto Gnar.
BOOM!!
Darkness erupted as Gnar fell into uncontrollable laughter.
"Hahaha! What's happening? This can't be! I'm the primal embodiment of darkness! How can darkness consume me?!"
Gnar roared in disbelief, clutching his head. The All-Black Necrosword, forged by his own hands, became the medium to reseal him—an outcome he couldn't accept.
In the Dark Abyss, the proto-Asgard expanded infinitely, soon bursting the abyss apart, absorbing all its dark fragments into itself.
In this process, Gnar was suppressed by forces beyond the cosmos, utterly powerless to resist.
Watching his dark divine realm be devoured, Gnar let out a heart-wrenching scream.
"No! Impossible! Damn you, Spider-Man! In a billion years, I'll return!!"
BOOM!!
As the proto-Asgard pressed down, Gnar was ensnared in the cosmic web.
Charlie loomed above, sneering coldly.
"Return? Sorry, I'm not planning to seal you. I'm—"
At these words, Gnar's eyes widened.
"Impossible! I'm the Symbiote God! I cannot die!!"
"But you'll become part of us!!"
The next moment, led by Shendu, the demons laughed ferociously, pouncing to tear Gnar's body apart, devouring every trace of the Symbiote God's power.
"No!!!"
As the Symbiote God fell, the Symbiote Dragons rampaging through the cosmos turned to ash amid their wails.
At the same time, the black liquid on Gwen's body writhed. Abyss, forming a demonic face, shouted excitedly, "We did it! Gnar's dead! The Symbiote Dragon Totem can't control us anymore, Gwen! We're free!!"
Abyss was ecstatic. Gwen, drained of all strength, collapsed to the ground.
Her breathing steadied from frantic gasps.
"It's finally… finally over."
Gwen bowed her head, shoulders trembling, tears falling as she wept with joy.
"He and everyone else… they won't die by my hand anymore."
The slaughter feast on Liberty Island was her most painful memory.
HUM~
Charlie stepped out of a portal. Seeing Gwen find peace, he smiled softly, not disturbing her.
Because Thanos was staring at him with an intensely resentful gaze.
"Charlie Parker, didn't you hear me?" Thanos growled. "Galactus is getting away!"
Charlie shrugged. "I heard you. Why're you yelling so loud?"
"Then do something!"
"What's the rush? It's not just my mission. Your goddess could move faster than me."
"They can't act yet."
"Why not?"
Thanos took a deep breath at Charlie's question.
"Because the big shots only show up at the end."
Charlie: "…"
He thought there was some taboo.
That's it?
Whatever. Seizing Galactus's power was good for him too.
Charlie summoned the All-Black Necrosword from afar.
HUM!!
Now, under Spider-Man's power, the Necrosword's blood-red hue shifted to golden flames of vengeance.
With the Symbiote God Gnar gone, the Necrosword's surface peeled away, revealing a golden blade inscribed with web-like patterns glowing with a mysterious aura.
Auroras flared. One side of the blade bore intricate webbing representing the Life Equation of the future.
The other side ominously displayed the Anti-Life Equation.
Empowered by both Life and Anti-Life Equations, Omega Beams etched Spider-Man's name onto the hilt like lasers.
The moment the divine sword was born, all life in the cosmos seemed to glimpse the future.
"What?"
Emperor Thanos, struggling free from the star, stared in horror. "What is this power?!"
The Death Goddess gazed at the golden swordlight in the cosmos, sighing, "The moment has come."
At the universe's other end, a vast starry form stirred, clearly noticing Spider-Man.
Within the starry form, Ancient One nodded slightly. "Eternity, Spider-Man has succeeded."
The starry form flickered, as if responding to Ancient One.
Elsewhere, a wildly distorted spatial entity grew excited.
The resurrected Spider-Man had indeed brought new power.
This was the only chance.
HUM~~
Beyond Earth, in the starry void, golden swordlight blazed. The invincible Spider-Man emerged from it.
The sword's radiance coated his golden suit, blood-red reappearing as absolute darkness claimed half his body.
Gold and black stood in stark contrast; the Spider-Suit became ethereal, indescribable.
"Whoa, Spidey, what's that sword called?" Old Man Steve asked excitedly.
Charlie raised the sword, slicing open the cosmos. The proto-Asgard fully enveloped the struggling Galactus within the Cosmic Cube.
"This sword is called Charlie's Sword!"
"Nani?" Old Man Steve blinked.
Such a casual name.
"What a mighty, badass name!" Old Man Steve exclaimed, shocked.
Carter, arriving: "…"
The old guy's humoring a kid?
Soon, under everyone's expectant gazes, the proto-Asgard fully absorbed Galactus.
BOOM~
HUM~~
In the starry void, the proto-Asgard, having consumed Galactus, began to expand, undergoing a transformation.
The divine realm grew rapidly, but Charlie felt something was missing.
"What's still lacking?"
Charlie recalled the proto-Asgard, muttering to himself.
Soon, at Carter's call, Charlie snapped back.
"Let's head back first."
With a wave, space around them twisted. Returning to Earth, they stared at the familiar meeting room with odd expressions.
Because they weren't alone.
The room was packed with Earth's superheroes.
"Oh, shit, who stepped on my foot?!" a group of Steves cursed from the crowd.
"Move! If you keep crowding me, I'm gonna grow!" Honest Banner shouted.
A flock of Tonys hovered in their armors, flames from their boots setting superheroes' heads ablaze.
"Oh my God, my head's on fire!!"
"Get me an extinguisher~~"
"No, no, don't spray me! I'm Ghost Rider; my head's supposed to be on fire."
"Tony, get down!!!"
"I can't! This place is locked down."
Superheroes from different universes shouted and squabbled, the scene descending into chaos.
Outside the meeting room, Charlie scratched his head awkwardly.
"Heh, divine power's tough to control."
With another wave, the crowd of superheroes was teleported away, leaving only Old Man Steve and a few others.
"What just happened?"
Harry fixed his hair, complaining with lingering fear, "I felt someone poking me from behind. Was it you, you old geezer?"
He glared at Old Man Steve.
Old Man Steve looked baffled. "You need evidence to talk like that. I'm too old for pranks."
"Then it was you!" Harry turned his glare to Tony.
Tony shrugged. "I'm in my armor!"
"Then it was you!"
Harry eyed Banner. The honest doctor looked innocent.
"That's my size when I transform."
Harry fell silent.
Could it be…?
He sneaked a glance at his best friend.
Charlie felt a chill and quickly pulled Gwen over.
"I have an alibi."
Gwen nodded with a smile. "Yes, we've been together the whole time."
Well, she lied.
But that didn't matter.
Spider-Man couldn't afford misunderstandings.
Gwen's words drove Harry to the edge.
"Shit! Don't let me find out who did it, or I'll shove their head into Spider-Man's crotch."
He turned, cursing, and scratched a tear in the back of his pants.
Charlie's face grew serious.
"There's only one truth!"
He pointed sharply at Johnny, silent in the corner.
"Harry's pants were burned through, so the one who poked you must be Human Torch!!"
Johnny: "???"
"What happened?" He quickly hid a certain Natasha's "big eyepatch" behind him, looking cluelessly at everyone.
"Don't look at me; I really don't know anything." His eyes darted away.
Harry's gaze grew dangerous.
"It was you! What're you hiding? Show it!"
"No, don't! This just fell into my hands. I swear I didn't sniff—"
Charlie ignored the sudden wrestling match between the two.
He turned to Carter and the others. "From now on, convince everyone to join us. Together, we'll break this world."
Carter frowned. "What if they don't agree?"
Tony added, "They all want that wish, after all."
"Honestly, so do I," Old Man Steve muttered.
Tony: "…"
Charlie could only shrug. "If they don't agree, make sure they don't get the chance to."
"Heh, I can help with that."
A familiar laugh came from outside the meeting room.
Charlie turned to see Ophelia swaying toward them.
"Love me one more time, and I'll have everyone poisoned in an hour." Her eyes gleamed with even greater greed than before.
Because Spider-Man's genes were more perfect than ever.
Charlie: "…"
