"Where are we going now?" Victor approached Valery and asked curiously.
"We're going to cross the Mediterranean Sea, so you better get ready. We'll be on this platform for about four whole days," Valery said with a smile, as the platform continued to pick up speed.
Valery didn't want to spend so much time at sea. If she were completely honest, the trip would take less than two days if she didn't stop, but she knew that would be difficult with Victor and the other humans. It would be very uncomfortable for them to sleep on an ice platform and also to do many of their daily tasks during those days, so she wanted to speed things up.
Valery waved her hand, and the way it was constructed gradually changed. The platform slowly began to take on a perfect, aerodynamic conical shape, which helped it pick up speed as they began to plow through the waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
