George Senior's jaw worked. A muscle jumped beneath his ear. His son had walked through paint. Through nothing. Stepped into brushstrokes and vanished into another world. The memory made his stomach turn.
"I still don't understand." His voice came out quieter than he meant. "You paint something and you're just... there?"
