For the umpteenth time, Paul's God essence was exhausted.
Standing up shakily, he looked down at the pale corpse of the shapeshifter, observing his silky black hair, thinking. 'He was even stronger than Geass'.
Thinking back to how close that fight was, and how any mistake could have easily led to his death, Paul felt his heart turn cold.
'Who sent him?' He wondered. 'Is he part of the order of the triple six?' But then he paid attention to this corpse's gray armor, his eyes narrowing slightly in recognition. 'Don't tell me…'
Right at that moment, he heard something ring.
Alertly, Paul looked down at the corpse where the ringing sound was coming from. He was wary at first but gathering his courage, he checked the man's armor before finding the corner where the ringing sound came from.
Paul picked it up, then his eyes widened. "A-a cellphone?!"
He quickly got over his fascination though as he paid attention to the name that was written on the screen of this flat-screen phone.
