Helanie:
"Norman, what are you doing?" I snapped, already pissed.
"Nothing. It's just academy stuff. They need me," he muttered, avoiding my eyes.
"What do you mean by that?" I pressed, watching him nonstop, blinking constantly.
"Kaye is catching up with our car. He'll take over my place while I head back home. There's some stuff they need me for," he explained, still not giving me a full glance. That made me feel so awkward.
"Norman, if there's something I should know, you should tell me right now," I hissed, turning in my seat to look at him, but he kept staring straight ahead.
"It's something I need to deal with first. Please, can you trust me?" he finally said, meeting my eyes.
Then the car stopped, and I knew Kaye's car had pulled up in front of us.
"Please take care of yourself. I'll meet you soon." Norman held my hand and kissed the back of it before leaning down and kissing my lips passionately.
