Chapter 2 - chapter 2 a crazy world

The shell fractured like ancient stone giving way, and I blinked against the spray of dust. A colossal silhouette bent over me—the great King of Monsters himself. His scaly brow furrowed in concern as he lowered his massive head.

"Welcome, my child," rumbled a deep, resonant voice. "I am Amaterasu—your mother."

Her eyes, ancient wells of power, glowed softly. "What name shall the mortals bestow upon you? I shall call you Belenus, for you burn like an eternal flame."

I shivered beneath her gaze, still wet from the birth-cracks of my shell. A holographic panel shimmered into existence before us:

My mind reeled. A ticket hovered in my inventory—a "free draw" from the cosmos.

Amaterasu tapped her massive claw and nudged me gently. "Come, Belenus. We will seek the fires of creation to strengthen your body and spirit."

I rose to my feet, still awkward and unsteady, and followed her down the molten banks of the lava cavern. She carried me as a mother crocodile bears her hatchling to the river's edge—an image both tender and terrifying.

Forty days later

The cavern had become home, its heat lulling me into a restless routine. I marched by day, rested by night, and the system's prompt echoed in my skull: "Use the ticket."

With a hesitant claw, I activated it. A surge of power coursed through me—cosmic energy, infinite and pure.

Several years pass…

My slumber was broken by Amaterasu's return. She breached the surface in a cathedral of roaring spray, her crest crowned with raw atomic light.

"Mother? You've been gone… longer than before."

She nuzzled me. "I vanquished a pest, drank deep of the humans' tribute, and returned laden with power. Look at you—towering, radiant. You have grown."

The system's text scrolled:

Level Up!

– New Level: 50

– Max HP: 60,000

– Energy: ∞

– Passive: Instant Cellular Regeneration Lv. 20

My heart thundered. From three months old to fifty years in the span of a breath—my youth was gone, replaced by cosmic might.

Inventory Update:

49 Tickets

Notes from Asgard, Olympus, the Divine Council…

I held the gleaming dragon ball in one claw, its seven stars spinning in molten brilliance. A fleeting thought: throw it away.

With a snarl, I flung it into the abyssal ocean.

The system blinked:

"Warning: Planetary energy surge imminent if all tickets are used."

"How long before I sleep?" I asked.

"Sixty years," it replied.

A century of legends yet to forge. My grin was savage and eager. "Let the games begin. Burn the stars down."

My mother's roar trembled mine. "Belenus, you wear exhaustion like armor—rest now."

I collapsed beside her as the world shifted. The earth swelled to Jupiter's girth; seven new moons emerged from its rings. On a single night, three moons danced above a super–Earth, its sky alive with rippling auroras.

Fifty years later, humankind still clung to its tenacious spark. Their average power level barely grazed what I'd been at five.

Philippines, present day

An earthquake cracked Manila Bay. Deep beneath, a skeletal colossus pulsed with atomic light before vanishing in a silent burst.

Agents from SHIELD and Monarch arrived under the new Fury. Before them lay two eggs—one empty, one intact—sealed in vacuum chambers to contain their unstable energy.

They called it Dagon. And as they watched, I stirred once more in the abyss, ready to reignite the legends of titans.
