"Tristan, are you feeling alright?" Cole asked.
It was Thursday, and he had chosen to laze around the detached house, and watch movie marathons all day. I didn't have any objections to his idea, truth be told, I needed the distraction.
The entire house had been on edge for days now. Ferdinand and Sylvester ran their men through defensive drills daily, and Bellamy sequestered himself in his lab with Meyhymn, designing all manner of traps and projectiles.
These kind of actions were to be expected, given the uncertainty of our current future. However, the intense warring emotions swirling around within our bond, were extremely worrisome, and ridiculously distracting.
"Yeah, though it's pretty hard to focus on the movie with everyone's emotional states in disarray." I sighed, wearily.
