It looks like Nie Li's group went inside that dark prison realm. I also met Duan Jian. Muscle man with wings on the back..Ye Ziyun joined us and was worried not seeing Ning'er for 4 days.. We didn't disclose much other than fighting some beasts. She has broken to black gold rank recently. Nie Li's friends are also the same.. But Nie Li is not. He is peak gold rank.
That night, city was in alert as scouters saw a demon beast horde coming straight to city and only about ten hours left to respond. And city was in preparation and later, it came.
Nie Li did his tricks of using oils and special bamboo to reduce numbers, with the help of alchemy associations and his friends, combined with his scarlet blood crystals. But he did notice something unusual about the walls and found out there were unusual runes painted on the wall. Runes were similar to what he knows more ingenious and energy efficient than anything he know about.. he couldn't get a clue on how these were present here..
After demon beasts attack reordered themselves after first attack they approached walls only to stuck in-front of an energy force field covering the walls. They soon began to attack themself only to get caught up in explosion which affected those bronze and silver level monsters in them reducing their numbers significantly. But yet many of them were able to climb up the walls through the gaps in the runes since I couldn't cover the whole glory city stretching across miles. Experts in city positioned themselves in weak spots and fought against many of them. Gold rank beasts came after through gaps in wall to the top and came crashing down on soldiers...Then Nie Li and his groups killed them.
I also felt a surge in soul power as new souls entering into my soul realm but got refined by my cultivation technique and my soul form engulfing them..my cultivation also increased somewhat nearing mid Legend rank 5.
Nie Li also got stuck in the process of absorbing souls and was struck away by a gold rank beast and was somewhat injured, but he somehow managed to break into black gold rank. Ye Ziyun came to help him..
Looks like, she also started having feelings for him, as with all the efforts he put into safeguarding the city and the gifts she got, she couldn't ignore him any long, but she is somewhat troubled by Lanruo chasing after him..Huyun Lanruo is also here fighting over but it seems she got a new demon spirit capable of doing illusion attacks, probably Nie Li provided them. Anyway it seems heaven assigned Huyan Lanruo as the second heroine to fill the gap created by me borrowing Xiao Ning'er.
I am just around the other block post near Ye Han. I slew the beasts near me and those attacking the commoners homes near the walls just with casual swings due to my new sword and peak physical strength. Yu Yan didn't enter the fight, But she could see my projected image from her soul realm which we made after establishing a soul connection after her request .
I don't want anyone to find out her location was in glory city and bring out more destruction...unlike the reckless Nie Li. Even with better defense the fight, more and more beasts came in, eventually a black gold rank beasts came, he angrily pounded on the defense of wall to break it open but found that it couldn't do..The sacred family elder Shen hong and even city lord were astonished to find this.
But the black gold rank snow wind ape learned to overcome this by entering the defense dead zones and pounded on the wall to break them. And a narrow opening is formed.. before it can came in the elders started its attack.. but still managed to enter inside, causing chaos, the city lord being legend rank fought against it but its vitality was enormous causing it to stand up again and finally after some more destruction, he slew the beast with his new move that startled Shen Hong witnessing his strength.
And with the increased strength of the fighters and spiritualists in city, they were able to guard the opening..but they were unable to keep it for long as more and more beasts came in,..luckily Nie Li and his group came in and assisted them.. Xiao Ning'er also came forward to help..
Yu Yan also emerged after seeing the destruction. I saw the rest of the beasts outside, nearly half of the rest, following their new leaders who taken control and trying to enter inside without knowing their leader is dead..I entered void form..produced a merging law energy beam with wide scope and released it. In an instant it spread across the battlefield outside the walls and over half a million beasts that were stranded outside were dead... And many of them got vaporized and even the terrain has changed . The few left outside was given quick death by targeted attack of Yu Yan who attacked from within my range.
Every experts and even the demon beasts stopped their action momentarily and then the beasts withdrew hastily ,but easily got killed by experts..City lord attributed the attack to Nie Li's master. While Nie Li himself was astonished to see a power comparable to a heavenly destiny rank. Which he didn't see anyone capable of doing in his previous life..and the energy patterns were unfamiliar too [as he didn't come across law energy]..Seeing the new timeline shifting off very much, he wanted to increase strength very quickly.
..A few days has passed by and reconstruction works were hastily done in the city. I was at city lords residence and I saw Ye Han entering to meet City lord,' it seems he is about to take action'.
I didn't attack him after he hastily escapes back but I think he is severely injured, since city lord was already legend rank,the strike really did some damage on him.But he need to bring the confirmation of poisoning to sacred family.
I messaged Shen Xiu " Bring Ye Han outside the city by using some means. It's best to fool him and not force him. You can do it conveniently and just let me know when you are done ".
After which I went to the lords residence along with Ye Ziyun.. Seeing the legend rank barely standing, I went forward and helped him. Finding out it was dragon tongue herb poisoning, I took out the mild version of poison immunity elixir from my storage and gave him. Since the contents were made with exotic materials, after about 5 minutes, he was back to normal. He thanked me very much and ordered the hunt for Ye Han.
I said to him " City Lord, you should hide for a while and let some rumor spread it's best opportunity to draw out the opportunists." He nodded.

The metal is sort of like vibranium in marvel movies of my previous life. It could store energy within and the inscriptions can adjust the amount and pattern of delivery at a trigger. Then I took the beast egg for myself. I took out a temporal demon page and it activated upon sensing the egg and it gained some vitality.
" Was it the page that you took from me.."

I used LoHP to check and it shown that this was a fire spiritual phoenix infant with more than 90% pure bloodline..it is expert in wielding fire law and space law since its birth. I named it Xiao Huo meaning little fire. After playing with this guy for a little, I left Yu Yan and it alone and left outside.
Two days later Shen Hong arranged Ye Han to go to dark guild due to his talent. He was only given a verbal information about the passage way to dark guild head quarters. Shen Xiu accompanied him as per my instructions and guided him to a faraway distance from the city wall.
"You should wait here.."
"Why, I was told there won't be any escorts?"
" It's not escorts, it's my master..."

For the remaining days, I was with Yang Xin, and gave her some dilute version of the poison resistance and spirit soul liquid as my findings while I was away from city as a compensation. While she was contemplating, I pulled Xiao Ning'er into my arms, and did some cuddling with her.
" So Ning'er we will be going to endless desert, after all this business here to search for temporal demon spirit book. How is your family's cultivation progressing?"

" Oh I got it. ". I arranged an illusion on my body too.
" I did it because, once upon a time, he dragged me to an abondoned house and tried to rape me. It was a revenge for myself, Ning'er and several other women who were assaulted by him in the past. " I answered.
" Wait, what do you mean rape you? you were cross dressing that day? Haha that's funny thinking about ....wait, No No No your movements and expressions are so very feminine like you are actually one, ...I get it . You were a girl all along? I could see my father and family members. We first went near them before explaining to the guards that we belong to Tian Kui family with some subtle mind manipulation. I went near my father and brought him into the illusion to make him see us and said in a mind transmission that there will be an attack on sacred family and told them to prepare themselves. we then proceeded to meet Xiao Ninger's Winged Dragon Family and repeated the same. We excused ourselves and went to the guest section and sat down.
We witnessed Huyun Xiong messing with sacred family and making them fools. Shen Hong then eyeing Nie Li due to his explosive actions against his family before and also looking towards mine and winged dragon families. Seeing only Nie Li present, upon getting some premonition, addressed everyone about the rumors present only to get no backers, then personal verbal attack to Nie Li only no one really cared. Later he was alarmed as Shen Ming was produced infront of him with some evidence but still he twisted some facts and refused to acknowledge. Now, Nie Li is about to introduce deacon of dark guild.
But I sent him a mind transmission saying
I already messaged Shen Xiu to separate from her family members when they brought in Yun Hua and she disappeared from the hall as I put her inside my world. Then many experts from sacred family hidden inside city hall managed to attack and gave a space for Shen Hong to escape.
While all this is happening, Nie Li managed to escape the obstruction of many black gold rank dark guild members to chase after Shen Hong as legend rank experts in snow wind family and Tian Kui and Winged Dragon family showed their presence, this alarmed many dark guild and sacred family members due to their lack of knowledge about this hidden strength, so they flee to the outside only to get locked in by the experts of every family . Nie Li and Duan Jian was able to beat up Shen Hong unlike in the plot.
Our group of three moved onto top of the building observing all this. We attacked any sacred family and dark guild members trying to flee. But the dark guild members were able to activate shadow demon attack and manage to bring a shadow demon that started to attack everyone in its range. Seeing this I casually sent some wind blades combining both sword techniques and law of light. The demon was pierced through and leaders below activating the techniques got injured and its power diminished immediately. Since sacred family expected more gold ranks and black gold ranks among the leaders present, they managed to bring many such dark guild and family members with them so, the legend ranks went to assist in capturing every one of them and was able to either kill or capture sacred family and dark guild members.
Besides Ye Xiu also activated Snow wind deity from the moment shadow demon was activated. It crushed the leaders below and killed the shadow demon. But then a dark guild law enforcement leader Gui Sha appeared but couldn't rescue them in time and so looked for the next best tactic of attacking snow wind deity using a law weapon. It managed to make the deity lose power but then he saw many legend rank experts below, overwhelming him with situation he found himself in, and was quickly subdued by many of them joining forces, even though some were injured by the law based attacks from the weapon. Looking at the guy who is overloading his weapon to cause destruction, I sent lightning law energy attack to the artifact he was using and stopped from burst attacks. It caused him to lose control of law weapon and plummet but he activated his demon spirit to attack those below.
Then Ye Zong came in and prevented many causalities but two silver ranks were dead and but since Nie Li already activated ten thousand demon spirit array to minimize the attacks and used its aura to lock him in and crash with mountains only for it to burst apart from the attack of the new guy Long Sha who came in, but still Nie Li managed to injure him using the full force of the new attack. But they managed to escape while saying they will attack in three months.
Nie Li and other legend ranks prepared to capture them with confidence and wanted to chase but I broadcasted my voice via telepathy and using law suppression on them (otherwise they won't listen) " DON'T ATTACK THEM " which lose their momentum.
And then continued " and if we did so, i don't know if there is any demigod expert by his side besides demon lord. Demi God is a person who has learned to mobilize law energy at the peak of legend rank and just like how you can't move in my law suppression field, they could do just that and slaughter everyone here. Glory city will face a massacre."
The people respected the strength so they acquiesced, and me reminding them signaled I am on their side. So they landed and I again continued " If they were to attack with us in full force such mobilization of people will alert the other clans beside dark guild from a place called Nether realm where these guys come from. Especially Wugui family and other noble demon families there or even some human clans from there looking to plunder resources or just wanting to enjoy the fresh air here because they don't have the opportunity to do so. So you should just build strength in the meanwhile."
They tried to contact me again only to not get any response back. Ziyun and Ninger were as obviously awed by my actions. " Ziyun, if you wish to come with us, you should come. You are already a black gold rank. Staying here won't help, if you wish to participate in the fight 3 months later. Ning'er and I will be going 2 days later "
I, Ninger and Ye Ziyun then transformed back and went back to the quarters. A large scale clean up has been done on that night. Shen Hong confessed killing Ziyun's mother out of jealousy, which angered city lord who cut off his head. Many of the dark guild members were able to kill themselves with some soul curse, but a few remained where tortured and information about their guild was obtained. Young Sacred Family members were captured and jailed stripping of their status, money and property. The servants and innocent women and children under them were put under observation and was relocated to other places. They will need to build themselves from the bottom as commoners again. Shen family is no more. But Shen Xiu was no were to find.
