Quirk Type: Transformation / Emitter

Primary Function:

Alter Ego enables the user to transform into alternate personas known as Evolved Genetic Offshoots—or E.G.O.s. Each E.G.O. represents a distinct aspect of the user's subconscious and emotions. Upon transformation, the user assumes a new personality, skillset, and combat specialisation.

Secondary Function:

The quirk enhances emotional perception, allowing the user to sense the feelings of others. With deep emotional bonds, this evolves into a two-way link, where both parties can feel each other's emotional state.

Emotional Response Trigger:

Strong emotions—such as love, hatred, fear, and admiration—activate or enhance E.G.O. forms. In extreme cases, spontaneous transformations may occur.

Quirk Resonance:

Alter Ego reacts unpredictably near other quirks, occasionally enhancing, disrupting, or resonating with them. The mechanism is not fully understood.

Drawbacks:

Each E.G.O. has specialised strengths but also specific vulnerabilities not present in the base form.

In the base form, emotional suppression occurs. The user becomes emotionally numb, impairing social interaction and reducing emotional expression.

Core Emotion: Anger, Passion, Ambition

Appearance: Fiery red eyes, ember-crackling hair, heat-distorting aura.

Personality: Aggressive and impulsive.

Abilities:

Living Inferno: Body radiates intense heat; physical power increases with temperature.

Heat Wave: Emits a blast of heat to ignite surroundings and disorient targets.

Weakness: Susceptible to cold-based attacks and oxygen depletion.

Core Emotion: Confidence, Curiosity, Perfectionism

Appearance: Violet glowing eyes, sleek hair, poised demeanor.

Personality: Logical and analytical.

Abilities:

Hyper Cognition: Processes data at extreme speeds.

Parallel Minds: Operates multiple thought processes simultaneously.

Weakness: Limited physical enhancement; vulnerable to sensory overload.

E.G.O. 03 – PHANTOM

Core Emotion: Fear, Anxiety, Insecurity

Appearance: Hollow eyes, mist-like hair, flickering visibility.

Personality: Cautious and observant.

Abilities:

Enhanced Perception: Heightened senses detect threats and intent.

Ghost Mode: Near-invisibility through refractive camouflage.

Weakness: Fragile in direct combat; stealth compromised by sound or scent.

E.G.O. 04 – GEO

Core Emotion: Calm, Resilience, Determination

Appearance: Orange glowing eyes, crystallised hair, solid physique.

Personality: Protective and steadfast.

Abilities:

Titan's Endurance: Sustains stamina and resists fatigue.

Diamond Skin: Hardens the body to resist physical and elemental harm.

Weakness: Reduced agility; vulnerable to internal damage or bypassed defences.

E.G.O. 05 – VENOM

Core Emotion: Cruelty, Jealousy, Competitiveness

Appearance: Slit pupils, glowing green irises, toxin-coated features.

Personality: Cunning and predatory.

Abilities:

Toxic Immunity: Immune to poisons and chemicals.

Toxicity: Bodily fluids become venomous, strength increasing with stress.

Weakness: Toxins can be neutralised; overuse leads to physical strain.

E.G.O. 06 – SPARK

Core Emotion: Joy, Affection, Excitement

Appearance: Electric golden eyes, static-charged hair.

Personality: Energetic and spontaneous.

Abilities:

Electric Absorption: Converts electricity into energy or stamina.

Electric Chain: Releases stored energy to shock multiple enemies.

Weakness: Overload risk; effectiveness reduced in non-conductive environments.

E.G.O. 07 – TEAR

Core Emotion: Sadness, Spite, Melancholy

Appearance: Sunken blue eyes, wet hair, aquatic features.

Personality: Detached and reflective.

Abilities:

Aquatic Adaptation: Can breathe underwater and move with precision in liquids.

Hydrodynamic: Becomes slippery and damage-resistant when wet.

Weakness: Severely weakened in dry or heated environments.

Core Emotion: Conflict, Frustration, Irritation

Appearance: Vibrating silver eyes, wave-rippled hair.

Personality: Reactive and chaotic.

Abilities:

Echo Location: Navigates using sonar-like sound pulses.

Vibe Check: Vibrates the body to increase speed, enhance attacks, or cause tremors.

Weakness: Vulnerable to silence or echo disruption; unstable under sustained use.
