Chapter 379 - Chapter 379: Relaxing Amidst the Sea of Flowers

It had already been a month.

During this time, Liao Pantu had kept a sign at the entrance to Yao Guang Small World that read, "Do Not Enter for Now." As a result, no one had been inside, and their anticipation for the contents of the world only grew with each passing day.

Now, Liao Pantu, visibly filled with excitement and pride, nodded his head and said, "It's ready."

Seeing him nod, everyone at the dinner table agreed to head over for a visit after their meal.

After finishing dinner, the group followed Liao Pantu to the Floating Island. Upon reaching the entrance to Yao Guang Small World, they noticed that the sign was no longer there, clearly having been removed by Liao Pantu.

Standing by the entrance, Liao Pantu smiled broadly, gesturing with a pleased "please" motion for them to enter.

The entrance to the small world allowed multiple people to enter at once, so everyone stepped in together. As soon as they entered, they were stunned by the sight before them.

Although they had seen how dedicated Liao Pantu had been to his work, rarely leaving the small world except at mealtime, they had no idea how much effort he had put into it until they saw it for themselves.

At first glance, it appeared that only a medicinal herb garden and a few structures had been added. But upon closer inspection, they realized they were standing on a flat, winding path paved with smooth, semi-transparent white jade stones. Everyone couldn't help but admire Liao Pantu's patience and attention to detail.

As they walked along the path, they were surrounded by a sea of blooming flowers. The flowers were no longer confined to a visible boundary as before—instead, the vibrant flower fields stretched endlessly, merging with the horizon. It felt as though they were completely enveloped by flowers.

Upon closer inspection, they noticed that even the sides of the small world were adorned with a towering wall of flowers, creating a floral enclosure that surrounded the entire area.

Standing amidst this world of blooms, it felt like they had stepped into a dreamlike paradise, a world of vibrant blossoms. The delicate flowers, which they knew to be notoriously difficult to care for, were all in full bloom, clearly a testament to the care that had been lavished upon them.

The white jade path disappeared into the vast sea of flowers, and had they not been walking on it, it would have been nearly impossible to notice the various intersecting pathways hidden among the blooms.

By the crescent-shaped lake, a crystal greenhouse had been built. The entire structure was made of flawless, transparent crystal, with no visible seams. In the sunlight, the greenhouse sparkled brilliantly.

As they approached the greenhouse, they could see through its transparent walls. Inside were various rare medicinal herbs, though most of what they saw were flowers. These flowers were fewer in number compared to the ones outside, and it seemed clear that this greenhouse was reserved for the most precious and delicate specimens.

Lin Xiao estimated that the medicinal herbs mixed among the flowers were likely some of the most valuable herbs in Liao Pantu's possession. As for the flowers housed in the crystal greenhouse, they must have been the most prized among the entire flower sea.

On the opposite side of the lake, a large trellis entwined with vines had been erected. The vines bore clusters of light purple flowers that resembled wisteria. The blooms cascaded down between the lush green leaves, gently swaying in the breeze, creating a scene of breathtaking beauty.

Around the trellis, several rare fruit trees from the sect had been transplanted. These fruit trees, obtained by Liao Pantu from Elder Lin's spirit fields, were now covered with fruit. It seemed that the unique soil of the small world had nourished the trees even more effectively than in the spirit fields, as the fruits appeared plumper and more vibrant.

The plump, glistening fruits looked so enticing that even though no one had tasted them yet, the mere sight of them made it easy to imagine the sweet, juicy taste they would have.

Liao Pantu, who had been leading the way, beckoned everyone over to the trellis. Beneath the trellis, a lush carpet of grass had been laid, along with numerous wicker chairs and low tables. Each table was surrounded by a few chairs, and on the tables were platters of fresh fruit, clearly prepared by Liao Pantu for his guests.

Understanding his invitation, everyone made their way over and took seats. Liao Pantu, with a wave of his hand, conjured a set of tea cups out of nowhere, placing them on the tables using telekinesis.

He then produced a teapot, and with another wave of his hand, streams of tea gracefully flowed from the pot into each cup, filling them to the brim.

Seeing this, everyone was astonished. They hadn't expected telekinesis to be used in such a delicate manner to control water flow!

This sparked interest in many, especially Elder Lin and his team. As they sipped their tea, they silently pondered the idea of studying water manipulation techniques themselves.

Sitting under the flower-covered trellis by the lake, surrounded by a sea of blossoms, they enjoyed the fragrant tea, soaking in the serene atmosphere.

Tuan Tuan, who had been perched on Sun Yigao's shoulder, jumped down, stretched out lazily on the grassy lawn, rolled around a bit, and then curled up next to Sun Yigao's feet, contentedly closing its eyes.

Jiang Youfu picked up a large piece of fruit from the platter and took a bite. As he chewed, he said to Liao Pantu, "Liao Elder, how about I move my kitchen here? What do you think?"

Without missing a beat, Liao Pantu turned his head and snorted, "Not a chance! Do you know how much effort I put into setting this up? You want to cook here? Go stay outside!"

Although Jiang Youfu had been the most vocal, the others also felt a strong pull toward the small world. Even Lin Xiao couldn't help but feel tempted. Who wouldn't want to stay in such a beautiful and peaceful place?

However, Lin Xiao wasn't in any rush. This was just the Yao Guang Floating Island, and he suspected that there would be other floating islands in the future, each potentially accompanied by its own small world. If his hunch was correct, there would be plenty of small worlds for everyone to enjoy eventually.

Liao Pantu sipped his tea before continuing, "It's not that I don't want everyone to bring their buildings here, but space is limited. You see, I had to move many flowers just to pave these paths. It took quite a bit of effort."

Having heard about the rarity and difficulty in cultivating these flowers during their conversations over meals, everyone understood the situation and nodded in agreement.

Liao Pantu went on, "Although I can't allow more buildings here, you're all welcome to come in and relax anytime. I built these paths and this pavilion specifically for all of you."

And so, the members of Lingxian Sect gained a new, peaceful place to relax and unwind in their spare time.
