The full-body Susano'o was strong—really strong—stronger than anyone expected. But there was one small problem… only one of his eyes worked, so even though Obito had Hashirama's cells and his Mangekyou wouldn't go blind, he still couldn't use it.
There was another reason: to keep up a complete Susano'o, you usually needed the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan. But now, that "fact," known by all the Uchiha, was broken—by the strongest Uchiha himself.
He used just one eye—not even an Eternal Mangekyou—and still brought out the full Susano'o.
Sasuke stared at the giant warrior in confusion. Everything he believed seemed to be falling apart.
"Is that really so shocking?" Madara gave Sasuke a strange look. "In the end, Susano'o is just a jutsu. If it's a jutsu, it can be learned. Those so-called 'requirements' are only there because you couldn't get past them."
"I haven't needed a Sharingan to use eye jutsu for a while now." Madara crossed his arms, speaking like it was no big deal. "Well, without actual eyes, the power does go down a bit. After all, they're eye techniques, so you still need some eye power to back them up."
So you *do* know that… Sasuke broke out in a cold sweat.
He couldn't help feeling that this guy was just on another level. Maybe even beyond him and Naruto. And come to think of it… could that goofy old Hashirama next to him be the same way?
Sasuke glanced hesitantly at Hashirama.
Hashirama noticed the look and tilted his head in confusion. "What is it?"
"No, no way," Sasuke chuckled. "There's no way two monsters like this would show up in the same era."
Besides, how could that goofy guy even come close to Uchiha Madara?
No matter how you looked at it, Sasuke didn't think he could compare. Just no way.
Hashirama didn't understand why Sasuke's expression changed, but he felt a little insulted.
Anyway, the main thing now was taking down Uchiha Madara. That guy had just gotten two eyes from White Zetsu—one Mangekyou, one regular Three Tomoe.
Sasuke remembered that Mangekyou—it was Obito's.
"Didn't expect Obito to just hand over his eye like that," Sasuke said, gripping his sword. The mark on his shoulder burst open again, turning into black patterns that wrapped around his body.
No more holding back. He couldn't, and he wouldn't.
"Not using Susano'o?"
Madara asked, looking at Sasuke.
"No need." Sasuke spun his sword once, his Rinnegan eyes locked onto Madara. "The more I use Susano'o, the more I see its limits. If I want to beat Kaguya Otsutsuki, I have to go beyond that."
"Oh?" Madara crossed his arms, watching Sasuke with interest.
But Sasuke felt a bit let down. Come on, man—how do you *not* follow that up with a 'Nani?'
Just as Sasuke was thinking this, Hashirama looked at him with a confused face.
"What?" Hashirama didn't quite get what he meant.
But this was exactly what Sasuke had been waiting for!
Giving Hashirama a silent thumbs-up in his heart, Sasuke showed a sly smile, raised his long sword, and pointed it at Madara. "That's why… I quit being a ninja! Uchiha Madara!"
In that instant, his power exploded, like endless chakra falling from the sky and wrapping around the entire battlefield.
Within that storm of energy, the Otsutsuki aura stood out sharply. That familiar yet strange chakra made Madara frown without thinking.
At the side, Hashirama still looked puzzled. "But… how are you going to stop being a ninja?"
Sasuke's mouth twitched. "You don't need to ask about that part."
"Why not?" Hashirama still looked totally confused.
Sasuke: "..."
Kurama, from now on I won't dig into your past anymore, I swear.
"Anyway, I'm going all out!" Sasuke bent his knees slightly, and with a burst of chakra, a huge force struck the ground. The earth cracked, rocks flew, and Sasuke launched himself like a cannonball straight at the massive Susano'o.
Compared to the complete Susano'o, Sasuke looked tiny—like an ant facing an elephant. But he didn't care. A confident smile was already on his face.
Madara frowned. Sasuke's behavior didn't make sense, but he still reacted by instinct.
Susano'o's huge body moved. Its right hand drew a glowing blue sword from its waist and slashed down at the flying Sasuke.
Sasuke grinned at the sight. He had no intention of dodging. He raised his right hand to block the strike, his Rinnegan glowing softly.
Clang!
The shockwave from the blade hitting the ground was enough to split the earth. A deep slash mark tore through the land. Hashirama jumped and landed on the wooden golem's arm to block the aftershock.
"Sasuke actually took that head-on?" Hashirama couldn't believe it. That attack—
Even if it wasn't as strong as Madara at full power, it was still way above the level of just playing around. Sasuke was still just flesh and blood—wasn't it too reckless to block it with his body?
As Hashirama was thinking that, his eyes suddenly widened.
The sword strike had completely stopped mid-air, as if it had hit something harder than diamond. It only sparked a bit and did nothing else. And Sasuke—was that "diamond."
In the sky, Sasuke held out his right hand and stopped the massive sword, which was many times bigger than himself. Even with all of Susano'o's strength, it couldn't push through.
Madara looked surprised too. "The power of the Six Paths is really this strong?"
"Interesting." He chuckled, his eyes lighting up with excitement, as if imagining himself with that same power.
But Sasuke wasn't about to give him that chance.
After stopping the attack, Sasuke's Rinnegan glowed again. A powerful force burst from his palm, shaking the sword away. Then his body turned into a flash of lightning as he shot toward Madara.
"Trying to break Susano'o's defense with hand-to-hand combat?" Madara narrowed his eyes, and lightning gathered in his hand.
"Heavenly Void Violet Orb: Jade Box!"
A giant purple orb formed in Sasuke's hand as he charged straight for Susano'o's forehead where Madara was.
Because of Susano'o's massive size, its reaction speed wasn't fast enough. There was no time to raise its arms to block Sasuke's strike. From Madara's view, Sasuke had completely disappeared behind the purple chakra orb.
But his Sharingan barely tracked Sasuke's chakra location. Madara narrowed his eyes, calm and focused. "Storm Style: Light Fang!"
A thin blue line shot from his hand, slicing through the purple orb like a razor. As the orb split in half and disappeared, Sasuke's figure was no longer behind it.
"What—" Madara's eyes widened slightly. He didn't even have time to think. His body moved back instantly.
At almost the same time, Sasuke appeared right in front of him—lightning in his left hand, a long sword in his right. Purple chakra and black flames wrapped around each other.
"No way to dodge!" At this range, even if he could react, he would still get hit.
Just like before.
Sasuke gave a small smirk. "Six Paths Style · Blaze Release · Amaterasu Raikiri!"
Special delivery time, Madara!
Now get out of that broken Susano'o of yours!
