I always knew my mother was beautiful.
To be honest, I even envied her. She had full, big breasts that I wished I could have, and wide hips that swayed with every step. She was curvier than me in all the right places, and had a kind look that was so unique to her.
But she was also quite mysterious, difficult to approach, and had a profound sadness in her eyes, almost like a flower that couldn't shine anymore because it was night. At least, that's how she used to be.
"Mom, you truly look amazing..."
The words slipped out before I could stop them, a breathless whisper as I sat frozen on my bed, watching the scene unfold in front of me.
Liam didn't even wait for the door to fully close before he had her pinned against it, his hands already tangled in her hair, his mouth crashing down on hers with a hunger that made my stomach tighten.
