Fuck Boros, fuck Orochi, fuck Garou, fuck Nightmare Mode, and even fuck myself! I've been fighting for this long, and I got caught by a sneak attack?!
Granted, being strong didn't automatically make you immune to sneak attacks - even Goku had been knocked out by Majin Vegeta's sneak attack, and Vegeta himself had fallen for this very exact thing from Yajirobe of all people.
Still doesn't make it any less lame!
"I was feeling left out," Garou smirked, only pissing Gray off more as the man floated behind him, "I thought I'd be fighting for my life once we got back here, so do you know how pissed off I was just sitting back? How humiliating it was that I couldn't even see you guys moving?!"
"That's your fault, pussy," Gray shot back, the words coming out as his voice was a bit venomous, and his voice a mixture of monsterously-deep and normal, "If something like that is enough to make you afraid, then fighting isn't for you anyway! The fuck are you cutting off my tail for?!"
I forgot this fucker was even here! Has he just been sitting on his hands this whole time?!
"If we're all dying here anyway, I'd prefer to die fighting," Garou said simply, a smirk still wide on his face, "But fighting against someone I have no chance of beating is stupid! If evening the scales is this easy, why would I not?"
I fuckin' hate this guy! He was chill on King Kai's planet, and now he's pulling this shit?!
Gray groaned - not in pain, but more so in annoyance, and even disappointment in himself for letting this happen. His body started to shrink, the hair coating his body withering away as skin took its place, and Gray's Ozaru transformation was coming to an end. However, even as he was shrinking, his hand was raised as his fingers tapped the air in front of him rapidly.
Fuck. I should've ordered King Kai to stick around for moments like this - this is about to get a lot harder, and if he dies, he just goes back to his planet anyway!
The Kai had left with Celia and the rest of his squad, not contributing much to the fight aside from some sideline coaching to the Saiyans as they helped Tatsumaki hold back Psykos.
But, no use in crying over what's already happened. I need to focus on what I can do right now.
Gray's fingers blurred, tapping through his system screens rapidly as he dumped all his available points into STR, END, and AGI.
It still won't be enough to close the gap, but it doesn't need to. This situation isn't preferable, but it's not hopeless. It's far from over.
Gray's power level plummeted, with his base now being only roughly a one-hundredth of what Boros' was as his Ozaru vanished, but that didn't mean he was just going to throw in the towel.
I still have the Kaio-Ken, I still have Saitama, and he's not in the best of shape either!
Across from Gray in the sky, Boros was panting, his chest heaving as he hunched over, and it was clear that his Meteoric Burst was taking its toll. The alien's body might've looked to be fully healed, but he was far from in optimal condition.
And it's not like I need to beat him. I just need to make sure the planet explodes.
For as far as Gray's eyes could see, the surface of Monas was covered in lava, molten rock, and was crumbling rapidly. If Gray just left with Saitama right now, there was a chance that the planet would die and take Boros, Orochi, and Garou with it.
But that's not a risk I can take right now. Orochi will surely die, since he's literally the planet, but I'm not sure if Boros or Garou have a way to escape.
Gray couldn't just leave and hope they'd go down with Monas - he needed to stay here and ensure that Monas really did explode, and that both Orochi and Boros died with it. He was pissed enough at Garou's sneak attack that he definitely wanted the man to meet his end here, but he was much more concerned about Boros dying.
After the shit he did to me, I'll die before I let this bastard escape. It'll suck to lose the Tree of Might, but I don't think there's any salvaging it in this situation. Orochi is literally the damn planet!
The Tree of Might would surely go up in flames with Monas, and considering that Gray couldn't see the thick roots far below him within the sea of flames, it might have already been destroyed. But, there was no use in crying over something that was doomed to be destroyed the second Orochi consumed the planet.
"Saitama! Fight with me!" Gray shouted abruptly, launching forward as he ignored Boros and headed towards where Saitama was leaping between islands of stone in a pool of lava.
"Huh?" Saitama just responded dumbly, glancing over his shoulder as Gray flew towards him, "Isn't that what we're doing?"
"More closely!" Gray clarified, blasting next to Saitama as he paused, tensing as he raised his hand, launching a Ki blast into a serpent of lava that Psykos sent streaming towards him, "I just got fucked, alright? So, we need some teamwork in this bitch!"
"...Sure," Saitama just shrugged after a second, nodding as Gray landed on the rocky island next to him, "I'm not very good at team-fighting games, though."
"Just have my back, alright?" Gray said simply, tensing as Boros stared down at him, and Garou narrowed his eyes at him. The alien shot forward first, and the duo of Saitama and Gray faced down the trio of Orochi-Psykos, Boros, and Garou.
The sky cracked open as Boros moved first, blasting forward with a trail of pink Ki and an excited grin, even as he was panting and clearly slower than before. Gray tensed, his Kaio-Ken flaring around his much smaller body now, and launched forward to meet him.
Boros' fist lashed out, and Gray's pummeled forward to match him - their knuckles meeting in the middle, but after just a split second, Gray moved.
He's much stronger than me now. I can't trade blows.
In the split second their fists met, a clash erupted, sending lava flying all around them, but it was only for a fleeting moment. Gray grunted, rotating his body as he spun to the side, letting Boros' fist continue past him as his elbow shot up to crack the alien's jaw.

Boros grunted from the blow, but barely flinched as his head just tilted upward a bit. He twisted to the side, the air curling around him as his hand curved to slam into Gray's cut, but before he could, Saitama appeared above him - the bald man leaping upward so quickly that a sonic-boom shot out behind him. Boros' punch didn't even fully extend before Saitama's fist made contact with the top of his head, sending Boros straight down into the pit of lava below.
Gray didn't have the time to thank Saitama for the assist, as Orochi roared from below and dozens of lava-covered tendrils of stone tore up from the planet's crust, lashing towards the duo. Gray shot forward as Saitama raised his fists, blasting through the air as he weaved through the tendrils. As he did, Gray casually raised his hand, firing a flurry of [Tracking KI Blasts] that curved mid-air, ripping holes in the tendrils as they headed for their true target - the form of Psykos rising from the lava and looking like a bright orange woman.
Psykos hissed in annoyance as they slammed into her, slashing through her lava-filled body and creating various holes as the lava went splattering in every direction. As she did, a figure launched past her, his fist raised as Garou grinned widely and joined the fight.
I'm gonna kick your ass for cutting off my tail, fucker.
Gray leaned to the side, dodging Garou's initial punch, and slammed forward one of his own. Garou dodged, his body moving like water, and Gray felt like he was simply sparring the man back on King Kai's planet again. Gray used [Prediction] as Garou moved quickly, twisting his body as a punch went past him, and Gray barely dodged a spinning kick aimed for his temple.
Gray countered by ducking under the man's outstretched leg, launching a punch upward at his chin, but Garou's body moved fluidly as he dodged the blow. Garou shifted his weight as he did, twisting his body and putting his weight into his arm as a brutal elbow rocketed into the side of Gray's face.

Luckily, Garou's attacks didn't hurt nearly as much as Boros' did. Gray grunted in pain, and his head snapped back a bit, but it snapped forward again as his eyes narrowed, not backing down. His arms blurred as he threw a ki-coated barrage of fists. In response, Garou matched each blow as he raised his hands, deflecting each punch to the side as he changed its trajectory fluidly. Gray narrowed his eyes even more as he pressed forward, punching faster and faster, but Garou's movements only seemed to get cleaner and faster with each one, as if he were evolving in real time.
Then, the exchange was broken as Saitama came barreling in from the side, his fist slamming forward and making contact with Garou's face. In a fraction of a second, Garou was blasted away - being there one second, and then vanishing across the horizon in the next. Gray returned the favor quickly, grabbing Saitama's arm as he yanked the man back.
A second later, a black, blade-like spiral of Ki came launching past him as it scythed through the sky. The blast carved a hundred-mile trench across Monas as it passed, cutting through more than a few pools of lava and sending them surging upward.
"How do we win?" Saitama asked casually, the phrase surprisingly simple as he glanced over at Gray, who just narrowed his eyes at Psykos.
"Just keep fighting. Preferably, keep Boros and Garou off of me," Gray responded before he vanished, using [Instant Transmission] to appear behind the massive form of Psykos.
I need an opening to use my [Kokuyo]. It's not hard for me to do something like blowing up a planet at this point, but Monas is fuckin' huge, so I'll need at least a decent amount of energy to ensure the planet explodes.
Gray reappeared midair above Psykos, his hands held out as a flurry of Ki blasts shot towards her. They paused mid-air as a soft glow surrounded them, and Gray clicked his tongue in annoyance as Psykos literally threw his attack back at him. He blasted forward, dodging through his own Ki blasts as a [Ki-Blade] formed on his hand.
He swiped diagonally as he reached her, his blade cutting through her body, and then a bladed burst of Ki followed. It cut through Psykos' form, cutting her in half in an explosion of lava, but Gray was forced to instantly raise his guard as Boros came blasting out of the lava-covered planet below. His fist slammed into Gray's crossed arms as he moved so quickly that he looked like he appeared out of mid-air.

Gray grunted as he was flung backwards, barely managing to keep himself upright as his arms felt like they were going to shatter from the blow. He was silently grateful that Boros was slowing down, as if the force of the punch had been the same as he had been throwing around at the start of his Meteoric Burst, then Gray's remaining HP could've been more than cut in half even while his guard was up.
He's definitely slowing down, but without my Ozaru, he's just so much fuckin' stronger than-
Gray couldn't even finish his thought as Boros shot forward again, the alien still grinning widely even as he was slowly running out of energy, and his fist blitzed forward as it curved towards Gray's side. Gray grunted as he twisted his body, barely dodging as Boros' other fist flashed forward, scraping the side of Gray's cheek as he tried to lean out of the way.

Gray barely dodged as Boros' first fist curved towards his cheek, as if it were just a hair slower, it would've sent him reeling. But before he could counter or create space between himself and Boros, Garou came launching in from behind like a missile, his knee raised as it crashed towards his face. Gray raised his arm, hissing as he blocked the attack with his forearm, but his arm felt like it was going to be torn off as the impact rattled through him.

He couldn't even focus on the pain, as Boros was already launching another hook toward Gray's ribs. He twisted again, [Prediction] saving him as he angled himself just in time. However, the gap in power was simply too much, and even with Boros' much slower movements, the attack still grazed him. Boros' knuckles raked through his already largely destroyed Saiyan armor, the impact resounding through it and drawing blood.

Garou struck instantly from behind, his palm slamming towards the back of Gray's head. Gray tried to lean out of the way, but was too slow. The palm strike made contact, and Gray's brain rattled as his head snapped downward.

That was instantly followed by a follow-up punch from Boros, which slammed into his gut and made spit fly from his mouth.

Gray was sent launching upward, his body aching with pain, but it was far from over. Boros launched upwards after him, his fist aimed for his gut, and Garou wasn't far behind. Gray's eyes narrowed as he had to move immediately, and as the two fighters were closing in, he slammed his Ki outward. It coated his body, then exploded in a sphere as [Ki Explosion] flung outward in every direction - buying him some time as Boros and Garou were forced to stop to avoid the ball of power.
This is too much for just the two of us.
Gray hissed as he stabilized, his body aching, his HP dropping, and his head throbbing as the ball of Ki faded away. Saitama was strong, but not strong enough to assist him in such a lopsided fight. Off to the side, he was waging his own war as explosions of lava shot upward. The bald hero literally launched through a wave of lava as Psykos tossed a tidal wave at him, bursting through and slamming his fist into the only partially solid form of Orochi.
I didn't want to have to try this, but I have to. If I don't, I'm just going to be getting my ass kicked, and any chance of getting a Kokuyo off is out the window. I might even die if I don't get a chance to buy a Senzu Bean.
Gray knew Kaio-Ken x10 was no longer enough. Even with his [Kaio-Ken] skill leveling up so much, and thus making it not nearly as intense on his body as when he first started, he had only been training with the technique for a month - as a result, anything beyond this made it difficult to adapt to, and would risk harming his own body if he held the transformation for too long.
So, I'll just have to finish this up quickly. Boros isn't the only one on a time limit now.
Gray tensed his body, his eyes widening as he stared down at the exhausted Boros, and his power flared up.
If I want to survive, I'll need to use everything!
Gray's mouth opened wide, and a shout reverberated throughout the dying planet.
"KAIO-KEN x20!"
Now, it was do or die.
