"That Demon is gone. All that's left now is a devoted servant."
The tall man in a butler outfit bowed his head again with a smile.
What?
I gaped forward, exchanging my gaze between him and Meta.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
I came in here expecting to face the Will of a Demon, but a lot of things were becoming hard to follow. First there was the sudden revelation of Meta's appearance, and now this.
Meta cooly regarded me, standing next to Zets in his unsettling human-like form.
"It means the Will in your karma is no longer a threat for you to worry about. As you can see, it's been taken care of." He gestured at the tall butler standing next to him.
Meanwhile, Zets chuckled, clearly enjoying the moment.
"Oh, but i would never be a threat to my beloveds master. My whole existence is made for the sole reason to serve him, after all." His body dissolved into a torrent of black mist and appeared next to me with his hands cupping mine all of a sudden.
