Ali balanced on the charred tip of a half-melted tree, his figure outlined by the still-sizzling horizon. In his hand the chain spun, faster and faster, each rotation shrieking in the air like a helicopter blade cutting through the smoke. His new strength made every revolution heavier, deadlier, the air itself bending around the whirling steel. His eyes never left Claw.
A hundred meters away, the half-beast staggered, his fur and flesh marred with scorched burns from the blast. His chest rose and fell sharply, each breath ragged. The arrogance in him was gone; what stood there now was desperation barely held together by his Beast Fusion.
"Mateo! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" Claw shouted, his voice breaking as his eyes darted upward.
High above, Mateo floated lazily in the ash-filled sky, lightning still dancing around his form. His expression was unreadable, his stance relaxed, his gaze fixed on the chaos below. He didn't move to help.
"Watching," Mateo answered, his tone flat—almost bored.
Ali's chain continued to slice the air.
"What the fuck do you mean watching, you coward!? Help me kill him! We greed on it!" Claw's voice cracked. Anger laced with panic. He was pleading now, and he hated himself for it. He knew the truth. Against Ali, with no Spirit left and his panther wounded beyond real use, he was already finished. Beast Fusion was all that held him together, but even that power was thinning. His time was running out.
"I think I'd rather watch." Mateo's lips twisted into a sadistic smile, his eyes gleaming. He had no loyalty, no care—only hunger for carnage.
Ali said nothing, but his thoughts churned sharp and precise.
'Three Spirit left. I can't kill him fast. Not without burning through it. And if I do… I'll be empty when the one above decides it's his turn.'
His chain whistled one last time. Then—
Ali vanished.
The treetop cracked under the release, ash scattering in a spiral. The chain trailed behind him like a comet's tail as he reappeared above Claw.
"RRRAHH!" Claw roared, swinging both arms upward. The air tore open as two enormous ghostly claws ripped forward, shredding the atmosphere itself in their path.
Ali met them head-on. A black portal bloomed into existence before him like an open maw. Without hesitation, he entered, and the claws shredded through where he had just been, detonating the tree-line behind him into dust.
Claw's beast eyes widened. He leapt backward, panic flooding him, already anticipating Ali reappearing at his flank.
But instead—
ZZZZZZZZZ.
A low hum whirred behind him. His ears twitched too late. He turned his head, and there it was: Ali's lightsaber, streaking through the air at blinding speed, aimed perfectly for his exposed back.
"Shit—!"
Claw launched upward in desperation. His body blurred into afterimages, ghostly doubles peeling away from him mid-flight. The lightsaber slammed into those afterimages, sparks erupting as the red blade clashed with the miasma phantoms. The forest shook with the violent clash of energy and flame.
But Ali wasn't done.
Another portal ripped open in the air. Directly above Claw.
Ali stepped out of it like death incarnate, descending with his spear in hand.
Claw reacted instantly, his beast instincts screaming. He spun, every muscle igniting with the remnants of Beast Fusion, and lashed out with a savage kick.
CRACK!
Ali caught the strike with his left arm, aura flaring black across his limb. For a heartbeat, the block held. But then the miasma spread—ravenous, corrosive, slicing into his flesh like invisible razors. His arm shredded under the attack, blood and aura scattering.
Claw's face twisted into a grin. He could smell Ali's blood. He saw the limb ripping apart, the crimson spray, the supposed proof that Ali wasn't untouchable.
But then he saw Ali's eyes.
Cold. Unflinching. They didn't even register the pain.
And in that same instant, Ali's right hand moved. The spear tip shot downward, inches from Claw's beastly face, glowing with murderous intent.
Claw's survival instincts screamed. His clawed hand snapped up, catching Ali's wrist with both hands, muscles bulging with desperate strength. He squeezed, veins bursting under his skin, forcing the spear's deadly point to hover just centimetres from his forehead. Sweat dripped into his eyes. His entire body shook from the effort.
'I stopped it. I stopped him.'
But the gleam of the weapon reflected in his beast eyes told a different story.
Above, Mateo smirked, watching like a man in a theatre seat. 'He's dead. He was done for the second he let Ali get close. Should've kept running…'
Ali's lips parted. A single word slipped through.
"Push."
Claw's beast eyes widened in terror.
The spear exploded forward, a burst of force ripping through Ali's own arm as the weapon tore free. Bone shattered, blood sprayed, but the spear didn't stop.
SSSHHHHK!
The blade sliced through two of Claw's fingers, the severed claws spinning away in slow motion. Then, with unstoppable momentum, the spear drove into his forehead.
It pierced through bone, brain, and skull in one violent thrust.
Claw's body went stiff. His mouth opened, but no sound came. His beast eyes lost all light.
The smile he wore a heartbeat ago was gone—erased forever in the gleam of Ali's weapon.
'Telekinesis is overpowered… I mean, I just use it on my weapons and turn them into bullets whenever I want…' Ali thought as he plummeted through the sky. He didn't even bother to soften the fall with his Force.
CRASH.
He hit the scorched soil hard, the earth buckling beneath his weight. He stood back up without a flinch, brushing off the impact, and wrenched his spear free from Claw's corpse.
The body didn't last long. It flickered, dissolved, then shattered into a storm of glowing blue lights. The fragments swirled upward, then vanished into the dark clouds above—Claw erased from existence.
A notification blinked before Ali's eyes.

Ali closed the screen with a flick of thought. Appetiser finished. Four players, torn apart one after the other. They never stood a chance.
From the moment the Beast King interfered, their plan crumbled. Pummel Fist and Claw were meant to tank. Silk and X17 to rain fire from afar. Mateo to dictate the tempo.
But when Pummel Fist was snatched by the Beast King… it was already over.
Ali lifted his head. High above, Mateo hovered in the storm-stained sky, staring down at him.
"Regeneration." Mateo said aloud, watching as Ali's shredded arm healed itself, flesh reweaving and bones reknitting in real time. But the sight didn't discourage him. It only sharpened his grin.
"My brother was right… if you won't join us, then you need to die." His voice darkened. His eyes flared bright blue, lightning veins crawling across his face until his entire form was wrapped in crackling electricity.
BOOOOOOOOOOM.
A pillar of lightning fell from the sky with no warning, no charge, no signal. It struck where Ali stood in a single instant, the ground obliterated into molten glass.
But Ali wasn't there.
His Force Sense had already screamed at him, and he slipped into a black portal a hundred meters away. Then another. One after another, folding the world around him until he vanished into the thickest parts of the forest still untouched by the Rail Gun's devastation.
Mateo's eyes snapped to the tree line. He shot forward at blinding speed, lightning trailing behind him like the wake of a storm.
"You think you can run from me?!" Mateo roared, hurling a lightning spear toward the forest's edge where Ali had exited the portal.
KRAKOOOM.
The bolt detonated, sparks spraying outward like a thunderstorm condensed into a single point. But Mateo didn't expect it to hit Ali. His plan was different.
'If even one spark brushes him… it'll latch. It'll lead me to him.'
But as the electric rain scattered, his eyes narrowed. Not a single spark touched Ali. Every thread of lightning was dodged, evaded, avoided with impossible precision. Ali dove deeper under the forest canopy, swallowed by shadows and leaves.
"Tch. He's hiding… refilling his Spirit." Mateo clenched his teeth, scanning his interface.
On his map, a large black circle had swallowed the forest ahead. A crude marker, gifted from a Shadow Guild spell designed for this fight. Not refined enough to pinpoint Ali exactly—only enough to show a zone. Too wide to make the hunt easy.
Mateo raised a hand. "Lightning Rod."
A thin spear of lightning materialised. He hurled it into the ground at the circle's edge. Then conjured another. And another. Each rod burned into the soil, glowing faintly with residual sparks.
For an hour he worked, carving rods into the entire circumference of the circle. A deadly boundary forged from his patience.
Finally, Mateo soared into the circle's heart and pressed his palms together. His Spirit flared.
"Lightning Guild Spell: Lightning Net."
The rods ignited at once. A storm of electricity surged between them, weaving a massive lattice of crackling blue that swallowed the entire zone.
Hidden high in the boughs of a colossal tree, Ali felt it. The faint hum of lightning crawling over his skin. His cover blown.
'I'm ready anyway.' His Spirit gauge was at 85%, Tengen's Blessing assisting him greatly.
On the branch, he exhaled.
And then—Mateo was there.
He appeared in a flash of blue, standing on the same branch with lightning spears in both hands, his frenzied grin wide and sharp. His eyes glowed pure sapphire, electricity bleeding from them like liquid fire.
"FOUND YOU!" Mateo roared, swinging both spears in a savage cross-cut.
Ali vaulted upward, the spears tearing through where he stood.
BOOOOOOOOM.
The massive trunk split in half, a column of fire erupting as the wood vaporized from the sheer charge. The tree exploded into ash and splinters, collapsing in a roar of burning debris.
Through the flames, Ali shot forward. Lightsaber held with both hands, blade searing red, aura coiled tight around it. He struck downward with full force.
Mateo met him. Both spears crossed up in defence.
SPARKKKKKKKK.
The clash was cataclysmic. The lightsaber, reinforced with Ali's aura, ground against the twin spears of pure lightning. Sparks burst in every direction, carving glowing scars into the surrounding forest.
Ali locked eyes with Mateo. Mateo bared his teeth.
And they both felt the rush of excitement, the pure thrill.
This was the moment they had been waiting for.
The real fight begins now.
