Even after leaving Lynx Duke's Graveyard of Bones, Rita kept thinking about that line.
It sounded like something a drunkard would say.
When Lynx Duke said it, Rita had noticed where her gaze landed. But when she asked what price she would have to pay to see Deceitful Bloom's fairy tale, Lynx Duke refused.
She said, "Stories about gods can only be read by gods. Come back when you become one."
Just thinking about that made Rita annoyed. She muttered to B80 on her shoulder, "Then how does she have the nerve to ask me about Deceitful Bloom?"
B80 had its own complaint. "She made me peel so many grapes and didn't even eat them. What was the point?"
That annoying habit of hers was exactly like Lightchaser.
But they quickly dropped the topic, because something more serious demanded their attention.
