Deceitful Bloom raised her hand, preparing to knock BS Rita unconscious, but then hesitated. It was only the eighth day of the game, and she couldn't keep knocking her out every day. That thought made her abandon the idea of using that shortcut.
Instead, she extended another Vine to bind BS Rita's other hand, and the two continued to move slowly through Quiet Mountain.
When Deceitful Bloom realized that talking might help ease BS Rita's anxiety, she reluctantly started a conversation.
"Do you remember who you are?"
"SS Rita."
Not bad. Deceitful Bloom felt that BS Rita's condition was much better than Uncharted Star Sea had expected.
She wasn't in the numb state that usually came from extreme pain; rather, it felt as though she had shut off all emotions.
"Is this state the result of some skill? It looks like the passive skill from your divine gift, but it doesn't quite seem like it."

"Did you not set any sort of off switch? Or a mode change?"
