Just before boarding the shiphouse, Rita suddenly tugged on the wide sleeve of GodDraw77's robe. When the latter looked over, she asked with complete sincerity, "Can I learn it? That ability where no one can evade our investigation or tracking."
GodDraw77 chuckled at that "our." She realized that whenever she talked to this student, her hands always got itchy. She didn't hold back—raising one hand to lightly smack the top of Rita's head. "Go on. Enjoy your champion's moment."
Not that there was much to enjoy. Her close friends were still stuck in the stands, unable to come down. Once a Divine Game started, the spectators and waiting players were kept apart to prevent any overly emotional fans from doing something foolish.
Still, Rita remembered what both Lightchaser and GodDraw77 had said: she represented Moonlight Marsh.
So she stayed on the deck with patience until half the audience had left before she finally hurried toward her room.
