The next morning, Yue Ning stretched slightly as the sunlight spilled into the room. She looked around but didn't find Huo Feng.
"Maybe he is downstairs." She mumbled to herself.
'Good morning, Host.' The system greeted.
She chuckled as she exited the bed. "No missions for me today?" She asked, walking into the bathroom.
'None as of now.'
Yue Ning nodded, freshened up and left the room.
"Sister-in-law," Huo Yan's excited voice sounded as she found her way to her. "You're awake. Good morning."
Yue Ning's lips curved faintly, returning the greeting.
"Where are you headed to? I'll follow you." Huo Yan intertwined their arms as they moved forward.
"To the kitchen. I haven't prepared a good meal in a while now."
Huo Yan's eyes brightened. "And I haven't had your meal in a long time.
"Don't tell the chef, but I prefer your meal to hers," she whispered in Yue Ning's ears.
Yue Ning blushed as she playfully hit Huo Yan.
