After a light breakfast, Yue Ning and Huo Feng directly drove to the Lu Mansion while Huo Yan returned to college.
All through the drive, Yue Ning was silent as her eyes were glued outside the window. Huo Feng would occasionally glance at her, but he never spoke a word.
He left her to sort out her emotions, this was something only she could do herself.
Meanwhile, the Lu family were not idle either. Yue Ning had sent a text to Lu Ting the previous night. So today, she was busy preparing the mansion for her daughter's return.
Lu Ting looked at the arrangements which had been made and she had a satisfied smile.
Lu Jiang wrapped his arms around her before saying with his deep voice, "you can leave all these to the servants. You don't need to exert yourself."
Lu Ting raised her head, and glared at him sharply. "You don't know how fulfilling it is to get it done by yourself. What do you even know?"
