Her phone buzzed in her hands. She had gotten a message from Kang Beichen.
She rolled her eyes slightly before reading it. The message read: "Chen'er, it's been a while since we've hung out. How about we have lunch today? Our usual place."
Yue Chen sighed. Perhaps, it would be better to go out to have fun.
With this thought in mind, she swiftly typed out a reply.

Yue Ning was currently in the room as she read the notification from the system's white holographic panel.
"Not bad, I was able to complete this mission." She smiled as she looked at her stats which were looking quite good.
'If only the host wasn't so smart,' the system complained.
Yue Ning scoffed. She wasn't interested in consoling the system.
'So, what will you do about your family? At the end of the day, they are still your biological family.' The system asked, changing the topic.
Yue Ning held her chin as she thought for a few moments. "Technically, I am just a character in this novel."
