Chapter 619 - Just Another Day In A War Without End

"Die, die, die!" Lesbian Sakura roared, laughing maniacally as she seized one of the shadowy silhouettes by the ankle, spinning her around in a circle and smashing her body into the other shades cresting the hill. "You can try all you want, but the result will always be the same!"

The shadowy figures dispersed into black smoke when struck, just like fragile Shadow Clones. They weren't difficult to vanquish, but a hundred times, a thousand times, ten thousand times… no matter how many times the white Sakura giantesses destroyed them, they just kept reforming at the base of the spear-covered hill endlessly, never giving them a single moment's respite.

Paragon Sakura, Inner Sakura, Horny Sakura, Lovey-Dovey Sakura, Lesbian Sakura… they were all fighting as hard as they could to hold the hill and banish the shadows, but sooner or later, they would be overwhelmed…

"Why won't you die!?" Inner Sakura screamed, bloody tears streaming down her face. "Leave us alone!"

The nightmare just didn't seem to have an end.

The karma of the hundreds of pairs of breasts Sakura had stolen had finally caught up to her, overwhelming her consciousness with their deep-seated grudges. With every punch and kick her Celestial Empress Lotus Seal's personalities threw, they seemed to sink deeper into the stifling miasma… sooner or later, they would all be drowning in the dark quagmire.

"Naruto, Sasuke…" Sakura choked out. "Kakashi-sensei, somebody, anybody… please…"

Small, weak, lost, flickering… almost too small to notice, a tiny figure sat in the midst of the five white giantesses' rampage with her knees drawn to her chest, sobbing quietly. This was the true Sakura's personality, the source from which the shadows seeking to devour her had sprung. She could only watch helplessly as wave after wave of dark spirits crested the hill, gradually staining the white, busty titans with their dark grudges.

"I took on too much… it's all my fault…"

One by one, the other Sakuras fell.

Sakura stood unprotected.

"Help…"

The dark wisps of breast chakra were pressing in on all sides now, their fingers wrapping around the main Sakura's throat, blackening her snow-white skin wherever they touched… but on the verge of being fully tainted, Sakura's eyes rolled back as visions of faces and places she had never seen before flashed through her mind:

An enormous tree stretching into the heavens.

An orange toad.

Two horned boys with milky-white eyes, clad in white robes emblazoned with black magatama. They had taken up fighting stances, regarding her with a mixture of pity and resolve.

"Why would you do such a thing, Mother? The people of this land have a right to exist!"

"Let them go! It's not too late to stop this madness!"

Sakura's lips moved in reply, though she could not hear herself speak.

Overhead, hundreds of thousands of cocoons hung from the great tree's sprawling branches. She was the progenitor of chakra, thus all chakra belonged to her. Those bodies contained chakra, and so they naturally belonged to her as well.

Sakura blinked, and the visions vanished, tree, toad and horned boys alike… though the two boys' white eyes remained. Disembodied, suspended against the scarlet void that formed the backdrop to her nightmare beneath the crimson moon, they continued to fix her with an accusatory glare.

In any case, she was now back on that infernal hill, lying on her back as the shadows swarmed over her, pressing down on her body with the weight of her sins… but hang on, she had committed no evil, for all the chakra on this star belonged to her, didn't it? There was nothing to be ashamed about; by taking those women's breasts, she had simply taken back what had been hers from the very beginning.

After all, what do the grudges of mere ants mean to a goddess?

Nothing.

As soon as Sakura realised this, the crushing weight on her chest driving the breath from her lungs vanished. With a casual wave of her hand, she dispersed the shadows covering her body, banishing them back to the base of the hill… and it was then that she noticed the presence of two uninvited guests below. The intruders' chakra… it was hers, beyond a shadow of a doubt.

After all, all chakra was hers… and one of theirs especially.

Sakura extended her hands.

"Banshō Ten'in."

In the blink of an eye, the two Orochimarus found themselves streaking through the air up the hill over the roiling shadows below, pulled by an invisible, inexorable force. Their flight ended abruptly as Sakura caught them both by the throat, her fingers closing around their windpipes like vices.

"You have something of mine," she said emotionlessly, gazing at them with empty, lilac eyes filled with concentric circles. "Fūjutsu Kyūin."

Both Orochimarus began writhing in pain as Sakura sucked the chakra out of their bodies, forcing their forms to grow more translucent by the second. This was her inner world, and as intruders made of chakra, they were naturally at a disadvantage.

"Not… like this!" the breast imprint Orochimaru hissed. "There's still so much left to do…!"

"This body's done for… use my cursed seal to escape, there's enough genetic information stored inside to form at least one snake!" the main body Orochimaru gasped as he gathered the last of his chakra. "You… were right! So, I'll distract her… and live on, for the sake of our dream!"

"Hidden Shadow Snake Hands!"

Ten hissing snakes burst from his sleeves and coiled around Sakura's limbs, but in an instant, sharp bone spikes erupted from her body, skewering them and reducing them to ashes before they could tighten their grip. Taking advantage of the opening, the other Orochimaru made his move:

"Orochimaru-Style Body Replacement Jutsu!"

The tall man's discarded skin deflated as he opened his mouth and escaped in the form of a thin, noodle-like white snake that tunnelled into the ground, vanishing within moments. Sakura briefly considered pursuing him to extract the rest of his chakra, but unlike the other Orochimaru's, whose chakra was also Tsubaki's and thus Sakura's, this chakra was mostly his own. Retrieving it would take more effort than it was worth.

"Persistent fellows, aren't they?" Sakura murmured to herself.

The manifestations of grudges had already coalesced back into human shapes and crested the hill, ready for another round of beatings, but she was tired of dealing with them. She couldn't strip their chakra of their will, but she could seal them up even tighter than before.

"Chibaku Tensei."

Sakura clapped her hands. The hill she stood upon began to disintegrate as the earth from which it was formed and the shadows climbing it rose into the air, and she compressed them all into a single, neat lump.

"What are you looking at?" Sakura said dully, giving the disembodied eyes from her hallucination a sideways glance. They were still there, watching her judgmentally. "Just stay right there and wash your necks… if you still have those. It'll be your turn next…"

"…"

"Nothing to say, eh?" Sakura said.

Without warning, the pair of pale white Byakugan changed. The first became Rinnegan, while the second became a rather familiar, sky-blue dōjutsu…

"Otherworldly Demon, Envoy of the Outer Path," a great and terrible voice echoed throughout the blood-red void. "If thou still harbourest a vestige of love for the people of this world within thy hollow heart, then kill thyself now."

Sakura snorted coldly.

The owners of those eyes had perished long ago. They were no longer able to intervene in the affairs of this star. At most, they would be able to infuse their chosen champion with a fraction of their former power, but that was the limit of their influence.

"All chakra originates from a singularity, the chakra fruit borne from the God Tree," a second voice rang out. "The more chakra thou hoardest for thyself, the more thine mind shall be eroded by chakra's original will… not that of the human women whose breasts thou stole, nor even that of mine mother, who first partook of the chakra fruit… but that of the fruit itself."

Even though Sakura had far less chakra than the Nine-Tails, who possessed half of the Ten-Tails' chakra, she now possessed in her body all the divine bloodlines originating from Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, including a portion of the goddess's will… a will tainted by the original sin.

"That is why I spread chakra to humanity, all those years ago…" Ōtsutsuki Hagoromo said with finality. "It was not merely to link people's hearts, but also to dilute the chakra fruit's wish to be whole again. Ōtsutsuki though our mother was, she was but a low-ranking member of the clan, wholly unprepared to bear the burden of our planet's will… and so art thou.

Mark my words, the same corruption shall befall thee, and this yearning thou hast for collecting breasts shall become an obsession for chakra. Just as Mother became consumed by the desire to possess all the chakra in the world, so too shalt thou stop at nothing until thou hast reduced our planet to a lifeless husk… I have seen it."

"Look upon thyself," Ōtsutsuki Hamura said gravely. "Thou hast already become a demon."
