"Shiki! You can't be hurt!"
If this guy falls unconscious, the ability of the Float-Float Fruit would be nullified, and all the floating islands in the sky would fall directly into the sea.
Wouldn't Rusukaina Island be done for too?
The wild beasts on the island would drown in the sea!
Ian was certain, at least in this moment, no one in the world hoped more than he did for Shiki to be safe!
In just a few seconds, Ian had grabbed hold of the falling Shiki.
Shiki was now barely clinging to life, his crimson eyes half-open, looking weakly at Ian. He couldn't even speak, looking as if he might faint at any moment.
Ian was incredibly anxious. He slapped Shiki Shiki a few times, "You can't sleep! Shiki! Show your willpower! Hang in there! A man like you can't die here!"
Shiki was indeed somewhat awakened by Ian's slap, but he still couldn't speak, only glaring angrily at Ian.
Ian breathed a sigh of relief, then without hesitation, he spread his wings and dove down toward the sea below.
It was impossible for an ordinary doctor to stabilize Shiki's injuries without him slipping back into unconsciousness.
Law! It's up to you now!
In the sky, inside the massive floating island, within Shiki's castle.
Everyone who was watching the video feed from the surveillance snail stared in shock.
A few seconds later, someone screamed.
"Boss Shiki has been captured!"
The entire castle immediately erupted into chaos.
Dr. Indigo, holding his head, was running around like a headless chicken, making puffing sounds as he scrambled.
After flailing about for a while, he screamed, "Boss Shiki!"
On the surface of the sea, the Golden Dragon Ship floated quietly.
Viola was glaring intently at the vast sky, broadcasting the ongoing battle to her comrades.
At this moment, a smile appeared on her face. "Ian won. Or rather, Shiki had no strength to resist—uh—"
She suddenly felt something was wrong. "Wait, was it Ian who couldn't resist?"
Indeed, Ian hadn't fought back at all.
"Anyway, Shiki has been caught by Ian and is on his way back," Viola said.
"As expected of big brother Ian!" Jack praised without holding back, "That's Golden Lion Shiki! To defeat him so easily."
"Indeed, it's amazing!" Drake also marveled. "Shiki is a man who stood shoulder to shoulder with Roger and Whitebeard!"
Defeating Shiki was almost like defeating Roger and Whitebeard.
"Ian is so annoying!" Yamato, however, had a different perspective. "He went to fight alone!"
The girl puffed out her cheeks, clearly unwilling. "I wanted to fight Shiki too!"
For her, fighting was entertainment.
Ian left her alone to go fight, and it felt like he just ditched her to go play.
Beside them, Hancock chuckled lightly, "Isn't it because you're too weak, Ian doesn't trust you."
"You jerk!"
The two immediately went back to their usual hostile standoff.
It was in this situation that Ian returned, completely ignoring their sharp exchange, after all, he had witnessed too much of it already.
"Law, come here."
He placed Shiki on the deck and called out, "Use your ability to stabilize his injuries."
"Huh? Shiki?"
Law walked over in surprise. "We're saving this guy?"
Isn't he the enemy?
"We'll still need him to send us back to Ruskaina Island," Ian replied briefly.
"Got it."
Law nodded slightly. "I'll check him over."
"The injury is in the brain," Ian said. "It seems the rudder stabbed into his brain, causing the old injury to flare up again."
Law observed Shiki's head and clicked his tongue. "This injury... it's a miracle he's still alive."
Muttering to himself, he waved his hand and summoned a translucent spherical space.
Then, Shiki's eyes widened as he helplessly watched Law swing his sword and directly cut open his head. With a few swift movements, Law sliced his head into fine pieces.
"The brain and blood vessels have suffered serious pressure," Law said. "Probably because of the battle just now, causing the wound to reopen."
"Just stabilizing his injuries?"
Law turned to Ian. "If that's all, I can use my ability to forcibly close the blood vessels."
"Should we remove the rudder? That's easy too."
Shiki's pupils contracted slightly.
"It should be fine for now."
Ian looked down at Shiki, smiling lightly. "Let's just stabilize the injuries first."
"Understood."
Law lightly snapped his fingers, "Room."
He could manipulate everything within this ROOM space at will.
Inside Shiki's mind, the ruptured blood vessels were forcibly squeezed together.
The damaged high-speed passageway was reopened, and Shiki immediately felt a sense of clarity in his head.
"Brat!"
He was able to speak now, even attempting to struggle and sit up.
Law sneered, "Don't move."
His ability loosened slightly, and Shiki immediately collapsed again, blood spurting from his head.
Shiki glared fiercely at Law.
Law once again used his ability to squeeze Shiki's blood vessels, reconnecting the highways in his brain.
Shiki then took a long, deep breath.
"What exactly do you want to do, you brat?"
Shiki understood the situation now, locking his gaze onto Ian.
"I just want you to help me move Rusukaina Island back to the New World."
Ian sat cross-legged beside him, "As I said before, as long as you move the island back, I'll let the past go."
"Are you threatening me?"
Even though he was now under control, Shiki refused to bow down.
"I'm just curious," Ian asked knowingly, "Since you've been in hiding for so many years, why are you specifically trying to steal those beasts?"
"Those beasts are useless to you anyway, right?"
Shiki just sneered. How could this kid understand his great plan?
Ian knew exactly what he was thinking. He smiled and said, "After all, the only use I can think of for these beasts is in battle, but, Shiki, you can't use them, can you?"
"With your Float-Float Fruit ability, can't you just destroy whatever you want? Isn't it as simple as smashing an island down? Even places like Marineford or Mariejois couldn't withstand an island falling from tens of thousands of meters, right?"
Shiki was left stunned.
This kid... actually made a lot of sense!
Why spend years cultivating beasts when he could just drop an island?
Shiki's eyes began to shine brighter.
That's right!
Just smash islands down, and isn't it simple to destroy the entire East Blue?
What have I been doing all these years?
A wave of regret suddenly surged in Shiki's heart. He almost wanted to slap himself in the face.
He had clearly already possessed the power to destroy everything, yet like a fool, he had wasted all these years.
Why didn't he realize this sooner?
If he had understood this earlier, forget about the East Blue, the World Government and the Navy would have probably been destroyed by him already, right?
Shiki suddenly realized something else.
In that case!
Those beasts and IQ would have been completely useless.
There was no need to fight with this little brat over those things!
"Brat!"
Shiki looked at Ian and seriously said, "I can return that island and those monsters to you. In fact, as compensation, I can also give you an island that I have, and there are some very vicious beasts on it. You should like them."
"And more importantly, there's a special plant on that island that can further promote the ferocity of the beasts! I've been researching it over the years, hoping to develop more efficient drugs to make them go berserk! You can have these research results too."
Ian raised the corner of his mouth. Why didn't he say this earlier?
Shiki-san is actually pretty decent, knowing that when apologizing, one should bring a gift.
IQ, huh?
That seems to be some kind of drug that can make beasts more violent.
Pretty useful.
"But, I have one more request," Shiki really knows how to bend and stretch. Just now, he was glaring at Ian, wanting to chop him to pieces. But now, he was able to openly make a request.
He looked at Law. "This kid just said he can take the helm off my head, right?"
