Caden was stunned. His brows furrowed as he stared at Aiden, unable to believe that he didn't even care when his grandfather was mentioned.

Aiden's gaze remained sharp at piercing the man. He didn't falter; instead, by locking eyes with Caden, he made it abundantly clear. He wanted no doubts to remain.
"I don't care about anything," Aiden said, his voice low but laced with steel. "All I have ever cared about is one woman —my wife, Arwen Aiden Winslow. So, burning bridges with your family, or even the entire world, means nothing to me."
