Catrin's brows furrowed, and she knew what the lawyer was here for. Her eyes turned cold as she glaringly stared at the butler and snapped, "Since when did I start walking to people at their beck and call, Mr. Cole. Did you forget who I am? Or have you forgotten how to dismiss people who come looking for me without an appointment?"
Mr. Cole looked troubled. He didn't dare look into her eyes. With his head hung low, he slowly said, "Madam, I tried it. I told him that you are resting and won't be meeting at the moment, but he said that he would wait until you are ready to see him."
Catrin frowned when she heard him. "Then let him. If he has so much free time, then he could waste it as he wants."
"But Madam —"
"You can leave, Mr. Cole." She didn't allow him to speak more.
The butler had no choice but to leave.
When he went down again, the lawyer looked up at him and asked, "Has Mrs. Quinn agreed to meet me now?"
