Selene frowned when Arwen's words like that unsettled her. Even though she tried to maintain her calm facade, a crack appeared in her expression.
"Accepting this as the journey from the lady of the house to a mere simple guest must not be easy, isn't it?" Selene mocked as she twisted the meaning behind Arwen's words as per her convenience.
However, Arwen simply shrugged. "I don't think so. After all, delusions are not so hard to create. It just takes one's own wilful thoughts."
The frown between Selene's brows only deepened. "What are you talking about?" she asked, her fingers clenching into fists.
"Of course, you! I am talking about you," Arwen jutted her chin out towards her. "Who else do you think?"
"Arwen!"
"Ms. Martin," Arwen cut in smoothly, her tone sharp yet calm. "Delusions are hard to cure, I know. But they are definitely not hard to recognize. You just have to open your eyes and look around … then you will know."
