On the vast grasslands, two armies were facing off against each other.
One side was a regiment clad in black armor, orderly and solemn.
On the other side, they were all mounted on horses, draped in a medley of garments, composed of a coalition of nomadic tribes from the grasslands.
On the side of the black-clad army, there was a platform pulled by nine horses, upon the platform rested a black chaise, where an elderly man in a yellow robe lay, and beside him stood a simple-robed Taoist.
"Today, I personally lead the expedition and vow to eliminate these barbarians completely. State Preceptor, can you lend me a hand?"
The Taoist smiled slightly but said nothing. He was here to collect the death aura from the battlefield, and the outcome of this war was of no concern to him.
The barbarians could no longer hold back, and a group of horsemen wielding curved blades charged towards the army formation.
