A group of little water tadpoles, each of them uttering a few words, insulted Illiyat until he felt utterly devastated. Though each water tadpole didn't say much, their sheer number made it overwhelming.
The ceaseless barrage of foul language finally caught Wen Wen's attention. He glanced over his shoulder and finally saw the tiny, not yet fully furred, pinkish bat.
"Huh, when did this thing follow me in?"
Wen Wen reached out two fingers, carefully grasping Illiyat by the wings and lifting him, although Wen Wen didn't recognize this tiny creature as Illiyat. Yet, if it could make Isweet, who rarely spoke, swear, it certainly wasn't just any ordinary microbat.
Illiyat's mood plummeted. He hadn't expected to be discovered by such a creature.
