"With Heckler's death, along with those two X Level Life Forms and a few captives, the Lower House is almost devoid of usable members, a perfect opportunity."
Costa remained silent, feeling somewhat sorrowful inside as the Empire's dignity rapidly declined, facing external criticism, now forced to hide like a turtle.
"The visible losses cannot be recovered, what we can do is try to turn the situation to our advantage." Adam seemed to perceive Costa's mindset, and said softly, "If possible, I would've rather seen Heckler succeed."
"I meant nothing else." Costa explained, sighed, "It's just, in the current interstellar situation, a single misstep could trigger greater turmoil, and Azure Dragon must not be underestimated."
