The Holy Mother and the Prophet looked at him intensely, their breathing quickening, as the Holy Mother's clasped hands clenched tightly into fists.
The Ultimate Life Form, the pursuit of all evolved bodies, was it just laid out before them?
Energy particles burst uncontrollably from the Holy Mother's body, and after several attempts to speak, she calmed slightly before cautiously asking, "What is the substance, and how is it applied?"
Though the Prophet did not speak, he also kept his gaze fixed on Levinbeck. Under their expectant eyes, Levinbeck shook his head and replied:
"I do not know what substance it is. You two may name it. As for how to apply it, I have not yet found any clues."
The atmosphere stalled again, and the Holy Mother and the Prophet felt the high emotions within them doused with cold water, as the stairway before them crumbled.
