The households along the East Sea Coast mostly have experiences of going out to the sea for fishing.
The saying goes, "Live by the mountain, eat from the mountain; live by the water, eat from the water." Sun Yi, since childhood, followed his father and grandfather to the sea, often living off the taste of the sea. As a young boy, he always dreamed of eating a bite of sweet, fatty meat, even the offal of sheep was more flavorful than fish, shrimp, and crab.
Perhaps because of this desire, after decades of hard work, he finally made it through, and no longer needed to go out to sea every day to make a living. Though today many are filled with resentment because the East Sea is sealed, he doesn't think much of it, offering a few words of sympathy, then tidying his clothes, he couldn't help but feel a sense of superiority.
After all, he no longer needs to labor to survive.
