"I will never forget that scene," he reflected, his voice also filled with emotion.
"If that's the case, why did Uncle Monroe insist on splitting up the Chamber of Commerce?" Lula turned around, her expression puzzled. "The Chamber of Commerce is what you all built together. It wasn't easy to get to where it is today. Why bring it to this point?"
"You should ask your father, ask your mother," Monroe sneered. "The Chamber of Commerce was built by all of us working together, so why should it be called the Dragon King Chamber of Commerce? Do you think I wanted to be the vice president of this chamber? Without your father, I would have had many more choices."
He took a step forward, looking at a relief on the wall. "Of the brothers who fought with us back then, how many are left?"
"If you have to blame someone, blame your father for being too domineering and your mother for being too strong-willed. They couldn't tolerate anyone else."
