Almost at the moment Lin Rui's 'Root Slash' was unleashed, all Sixth Realm Martial Cultivators walking outdoors on the Sky Etreme Star witnessed an unbelievably grand, apocalyptic scene in the sky above.
A pitch-black rift, stretching for ten thousand miles, was torn open at the center of a Vortex located in the southern part of the Heavenly Curtain. Within the rift, dark purple flames swirling with gold-red bloodlight surged out, dyeing the entire sky a sinister blood-red.
This phenomenon also affected hundreds of surrounding stars, some of which were directly obliterated into golden dust.
Some powerful Martial Cultivators could even see numerous spirits of the Heavenly Curtain emerging from the rift, struggling to return to the mortal world, appearing as if billions of eyes were gazing at the mortal realm from within the rift.
A gigantic wailing sound also emanated from deep within the rift, the sound waves carrying the Divine Power capable of incinerating all things.
