At the moment the time-space Blood River connecting the ancient and the present was severed, the entire sky over Yellow Mountain Island was suddenly torn apart by an invisible force. A deep purple fissure resembling the mouth of a monstrous beast began to slowly open above the clouds. Endless purple flames spewed forth from it, as if intent on igniting the entire sky.
A twelve-zhang tall flaming Battle Dragon stepped slowly out of the fissure, its body seemingly composed entirely of immortal purple fire. When its dragon claws reached out, they tore through the clouds, creating a scorching wave that could burn the sky and boil the sea.
Its dragon head reared high like a mountain range, and its vertical pupils were like molten lava, gazing down at all living beings. Wherever its gaze swept, the surrounding seas boiled and evaporated, revealing the cracked, red bedrock below.
