"Damn it!"
Standing beside Wang Jian, Peng Qing heard the muttered curse and saw him frown and roll his eyes. In an instant, he had pinpointed the object of Wang Jian's disdain.
Peng Qing had no recollection of the woman. She wasn't one of the renowned doctors he had invited, so she must have been brought here by someone else. She was possibly an assistant or a student, so Peng Qing hadn't paid her any mind. After a second glance, however, he noticed she was quite attractive.
Judging by Wang Jian's reaction, he knew this woman must have some history with him. Whatever that history was, Wang Jian clearly disliked her now, and that was enough for Peng Qing to start contemplating how to make her leave.
