"Hey, Chen Yang."
"What are you up to? Got some time?"
"I'm at the police station. Is there something you need?"
Tan Jing didn't directly answer whether she had time, but asked back instead.
Chen Yang smiled slightly and said, "Nothing urgent, just realized you still owe me lunch. Thought I'd redeem it at noon."
"Haha." Tan Jing chuckled on the phone as well, "Alright, tell me the restaurant, I'll come right over and fulfill my promise."
"The restaurant right across from your police station, I'm already here waiting for you, hurry over." Chen Yang said.
"What? You're already here? Okay, wait a bit, I'll be right there."
Tan Jing was momentarily surprised but didn't ask too many questions. After agreeing, she hung up the phone.
Shortly after, Chen Yang saw Tan Jing in a white dress walking out of the police station through the restaurant's glass.
Out of her uniform, Tan Jing looked very pretty and had an exceptionally striking demeanor.
