"What was that? A person?"
Chen Yang stood at the village entrance, puzzled for a moment, then decided to give chase and see what it really was.
But before he could make a move, the pack of dogs in the field suddenly turned around and ran back, not continuing the chase.
No one knew why.
Seeing this, Chen Yang was even more confused, not understanding what was up with Wangcai.
He waited a moment at the village entrance, and soon Wangcai returned with the pack.
"Wangcai, what are you doing out here so late?" Chen Yang asked immediately upon seeing Wangcai.
Wangcai was at the front, followed by a panting pack of dogs.
Woof woof!
Wangcai walked up to Chen Yang and barked twice, as if trying to say something.
But Chen Yang couldn't understand what it meant.
"Was that a person or an animal in the field earlier?" Knowing that Wangcai's expression was hard to understand, Chen Yang tried asking.
Wangcai didn't respond directly but instead barked towards the pack behind it.
