Chen Yang was crouching under the window with Wangcai, mimicking the sounds of beasts.
He also grabbed Wangcai's paw and scratched the wall, imitating the sound of an animal clawing at the wall.

Wangcai is a wolf-dog, with wolf blood in its veins.
So the sound it made was almost identical to a wolf's howl!
