"Wait! Secretary Li, may I ask if our Ying family has done something to offend you?"
A moment later, Shen Yueli snapped back to her senses, shock and anger flashing across her face. She forced a smile, suppressing her rage as she spoke softly into the phone.
"Your business practices have been excellent and have greatly satisfied President Kim," Secretary Li's voice replied, still chillingly cold.
"Then why would you suddenly cancel all cooperation?"
Shen Yueli and Mrs. Ying Sr. exchanged a glance, both utterly confused.
"Heh. Mrs. Shen, surely you know what you did to President Kim's son, Kim Soohwan?"
"I've searched my conscience, and I'm certain I haven't offended Mr. Kim," Shen Yueli mumbled, shaking her head, even more baffled. "I know your Guxin Group plans to enter the traditional Chinese medicine market, and that's why I even went out of my way to—!"
Her voice died in her throat.
