Bard Blackfeather slowly lowered the monocular in his hand, the chainmail shirt gently jingling. Beneath the thick crow-feather cloak, the shoulder armor reflected a trace of firelight. That distant light came from the town, as the Knight furrowed his thick eyebrows. That place was situated beyond the edge of the forest, and in his deep gaze, it was reduced to just a pinpoint of light.
He exhaled a breath, watching the white mist rise and blend into the night sky, "But they're just a bunch of ragtag groups, little mice of Nikopolas, and some insignificant intruders."
