BRRRING BRRRING!
Having switched to a new bed that was over two meters wide, Chu Tian was sleeping soundly when the relentless ringing of the phone woke him up.
"Hello, who is it?"
"It's me, Xu Qingqiu. Where are you?"
"Ah? Oh! I'm at home. What's up?"
"..."
Listening to the deep breathing on the other end of the phone, Chu Tian immediately sensed that something wasn't quite right.
What's going on? I've got a chill running down my spine.
Luckily, the person on the other end spoke again, though her tone wasn't exactly pleasant.
"Come to the studio. I need to talk to you."
Hearing the dial tone, Chu Tian's puzzled expression slowly faded. He glanced at his phone; it was already past eleven. No wonder. He had been late quite often lately.
It wasn't entirely his fault, though. After moving yesterday, there was so much to tidy up. He had worked until after two in the morning and, as a result, hadn't woken up on time.
