The sound of the wind rolled through the pipes, faintly mingling with the moans and cries from other wards, hovering in the air, as a chill slowly seeped into the room, awakening a thin layer of goosebumps on the skin.
Felix hated hospitals.
He thought he had already gotten used to hospitals, but once back in the ward, he realized he still hadn't and absolutely loathed it.
Yet, what could he do now?
Helplessly and stiffly lying on the hospital bed, staring at the ceiling like a zombie, quietly feeling the vitality draining from his body.
This feeling was truly awful.
Until the silence was broken, a knock on the door pulled him back to reality.
It should be the doctor doing rounds.
Felix detested the feeling of being so familiar with hospital procedures.
He didn't move, just pressed the remote, and the bed began to slowly rise.
Buzz, buzz buzz.
Accompanied by a low sound, the view ahead gradually unfolded.
