BAM!
I felt the door slamming into my heart.
There is nothing more tormenting than having to live with one person with two separate minds. It isn't a medical condition but a manipulation. Shishi is two person in one.
I call her Shishi because she was the tenth and last among us. We were called by numbers in that place.
Li Chaihong was the last to arrive. She was coincidentally ten years old at the time so the rest of us just called her 'shishi'. She had saved us all by becoming the only successor of the GG Legacy.
She had promised us salvation by taking up all the burden alone and she had seen it true six months. She was so kind, yet so ruthless to herself. She was just too decisive yet too righteous. At that time, we didn't know one another's names but now that I know her name, she was truly our rainbow. She made the light shine upon us literally and metaphorically.
"Hey, these ones are too weak. I am strong and I will beat all this tests!" She had declared very seriously. I was amazed by her confidence.
"Say that after five test!" One of the people had declared and the rest of them had laughed very hard at her, the only time i had seen them laugh. Eventhough the rest of us hadn't laughed we had exchanged glances and turned out heads in pity at the chubby Shishi.
"If I make it, let this little ones go!" She might be giving off the feisty vibe but to me she looked just likes comic character.
Every day, we watched as she was been thrown into tests upon tests until she had reached her limit for the day. We watched her return haggard and frail but smile even more brightly than we who were doing half of her what she does. I couldn't smile back and so I decided to negotiate with the boss. She would be returned home if I succeeded the fifth level before her
I wasn't able to surmount the fifth level even after Shishi had completed he eight level. By then the other children her been voluntarily released by the people to the rescue agency.
I increased my efforts and whole haertedly wanted to be the monster for this people to let the little girl go but I didn't know how to surpass level 5.
Then one day, she was suddenly been punished for not complying with training and the next thing I knew I was also been punished too. We were thrown into a place similar to a dungeon.
It was there that we were rescued by the Bo family.
The next time I saw her was at her twelveth birthday party, eleven months after the GG Legacy had been destroyed and the people behind it were said to be behind bars. She didn't recognise me, which to me was good. She would leave her life better without a reminder. I had uttered quite the line, thinking that she might be against forced marriage.
I was away for a few years until I received my grandmother's call.
"Boy come home now?"
"No"
"Mo Jinsheng your position as CEO will be at stake if I don't see you in 13hours!"
Thirteen hours was what it takes for the flight to take off and land. She was dead serious.
I didn't expect to meet Shishi again. My grandmother and grandpa Li were waiting in a small bungalow in Hotan.
"Your fiancé, Chaihong has been in coma since she returned from that place." My grandmother couldn't even wait for me to sit.
I could feel the immensity of the matter.
I listened on as they briefed me on the very importance of my presence.
"She's believed herself to be in love with a Mo boy. Your cousin. The only Mo in her memory is...". Grandpa Li added
"Me. But I'm perplexed."
"She has been cloned. I mean, she cloned herself."
I was speechless and amazed.
"Her clone has all the memories it should, except of course for that incident."
"Grandma, this is your expertise. What's going to happen to her or the clone?"
"I'm bewildered as well as old! We need young minds."
"I'll reach out."
"The sudden lover?" Asked grandfather Li.
"Let it play out."
"Grandma!" I couldn't believe she would do this to me. What is she letting play out!
"Your grandpa Li will sort that out."
I didn't know how it was sorted out but about three years ago, grandfather Li called for a different thing.
"Jinsheng, her body is dying"
I kept my eyes glued to my saviour, my fiancé, my...

Shishi has been the one controlling all the research under HONG medical centre and Pharmaceuticals with telepathy. She made all the decisions, including the finances.
I didn't want to agree. I couldn't possibly like a clone. My guts told me something might go wrongfully wrong. We still went ahead.
And something did go wrong. The clone's body had miraculously deviated it's DNA by 0.0000000001 percent. She had become more like a daughter than a clone, so her mind was thrown to a corner by the body.
Instead, the cloned body awakened a Li Chaihong who still a child, proud, naughty and willful, making it even more difficult to resolve.
We worked tirelessly, employing every genius we could find. I was almost becoming a scientist myself, still we bore no fruit even after almost two years. My grandma had began to lose the luster of her youth yet she worked tirelessly for her granddaughter -in-law.
Then one day, one of the new recruits discovered a message left in the ROM of the mainframe.
"I LOVE MO"
Having a source of hope was better than nothing. Everyone decided that I had to help her trigger her mind.
I decided to invite Desmond Mo, my younger cousin back home. It turned out that Desmond Mo was one of the keys but the trail ended with the clone's mind awakening.
My Shishi might never be awoken!
