Rose didn't react. The words made sense to her mind but she didn't actually want to believe them. How could her brother who advocated truth and honesty be in cahoots with That Guy?
'You sure?'
She asked Asher. Maybe their mind talk gad some wrong link and she heard wrong. That could be the issue, right?
'I don't know what to tell you.'
Rose didn't believe it.
'Are you sure you saw it? I find it hard to believe.'
Asher knew she wouldn't believe it.
'Your Element Follow later, I watched him meet that guy. By the words being said, he is working for that guy to save you. But you know, if this went south, your brother will be affected.'
She understood what he meant. Her brother shouldn't do that.
'I'll talk with him. I don't want him to do something wrong even if it's for me.'
Asher knew she wouldn't like knowing this. No matter what was the cause, the fact was that Will was working for that guy. It got him some bad effects entangled with his fate. That was wrong.
