"You know there's no one in our family who has had your magical ability till now. We have been Moon Charmers or Sun Charmers. Actually, your uncle's foretelling is an ability that doesn't belong to the Charmers. It's from someone else too."
Cora had that faraway look in her eyes.
"Let me tell you a story first."
Asher didn't disturb her.
"There was a girl who was hunted by her family because her parents died. She disguised herself as a boy as she grew and became an elite student. She became the leader of her community later."
Cora stopped and she looked at Asher.
"Know who she is?"
He shook his head.
"She is your grandma's grandma's mother."
He nodded.
"And there was a prince who was loved by the people but when his parents abolished royalty, he worked for that dream and didn't stop even when his baby brother rose to prominence later and plotted to kill him. That prince died doing what he believed was good. He protected his wife till the last moment."
She sighed.
