"Host, are you worried?"
Rose was. A little. She was worried. The task was really important to her. But worrying wasn't going to solve anything. She had to go talk with Grant and hope that he would consider them.
She wasn't blindly confident because things can go either way. It's not written in a magical binding contract so the other party had to fulfill it. And even if it was written, things could still change.
Rose waited for Asher to come out. She didn't want to go in and tell him. It was her investment. She didn't have to tell him and ask him to help. She had to start learning to handle things on her own.
Sigh.
How sad!
Asher was surprised to see her waiting and not entering the house. He was about to ask her but he noticed her talking with herself as if she was enacting some kind of scenario. Asher could see her clearly from the window. He thought it would be apt not to disturb her now. The only thing he could do was to get ready sooner.
