Prince Jing's family had arrived by carriage, bringing only a driver to drive the horse-drawn vehicle.
When they had arrived, the family at least outwardly appeared sweet and loving, but upon their departure, not only were the couple the only two left, but they also sat at opposite ends of the carriage, with both of their hearts tangled in chaos, neither daring to break the silence.
After finally returning to the post station, Prince Jing, without saying a word, jumped down from the carriage and strode forward.
Stumbling along behind him, the Princess Consort asked, "Prince, what... what's wrong with you?"
"This Prince just remembered that there are some urgent matters to attend to. If the Princess Consort has nothing pressing, it's best not to go out, it's not safe outside," Prince Jing said, and then he was gone.
