The opening remarks were solemn and meaningful, and everyone took them seriously. After all, compared to other majors, most of them chose archaeology because of their love and talent for it, and to strive for their own life goals, which was different from other students who chose their majors for future economic benefits.
How could they not be serious?
The opening remarks were just one paragraph, followed by heavy lectures... A class, two hours, aside from two short breaks, was full of knowledge and experience, without the ease that many imagined...
